Slasher isn't going to Munkaid as far as I know, but he'll be in wilmington when Chris goes there, and Slasher has gotten better so it should be a good experience.

There's no need to "John" for M2K. He's been the greatest for YEARS. People are having trouble coming to terms with the fact that he's simply no longer "the best"
People did the exact same thing when Ken was ousted. There are still idiots who think Ken is the best melee player.

Colbol did better vs M2K.
Tourney placings favor Jman, but I find Colbol becoming more and more solid lately. It really wouldn't surprise me if he's the best Fox now.
Especially I think Jman is playing much less now for some reason.

Colbol is the ****. He's my favorite Fox main out there, next to l0zR of course.
I wish LoZR had better matchup practice.

Colbol, however, has been improving really recently... Jman has a lot more experience and has done better at larger tournaments.
You'd still think he was the best if Colbol wasn't doing so well now while Jman isn't going to anything. (The reason, as I heard at HERB2 and TO5 stream, was that he's been smoking a ton lately and just lazed out on going to tournaments)
Note that M2K is NOT a Fox main... even if he has a better Fox.

I don't really want to weigh in much more on the debate but look at the matches vs. Armada at Genesis. Those Marth vs. Peach matches at FD were astonishing on M2K's part and he barely lost. Mango's Falco got ***** by Armada and he had to pick Jiggs...
We all know how I feel about Jiggs. haha
Point being, Mango's Falco makes so many tech errors which his mindgames make up for whereas M2K just doesn't mess up. There is no reason why M2K should ever lose to Mango other than I think M2K has a mental block and is autistic so he can't deal with all the noise well. /autism johns

If you're talking about jman v. col... I try to look at the over-all picture. jman has some anti-falco game(speaking of anti-falco game... this guy is pretty scary against the blue chicken: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hElmpHbXjAI) that col doesn't possess. They're both better at certain things, but over-all, jman probably has a slight edge on colbol. As for zget, the dude ****ing owns... I mean ****. I'd say that he definitely has the best fox/falco combination in the world...(not saying the best fox... it's hard to rank overseas players....)

No way. I've even read j saying himself, wow, zg is pretty much the only fox that does the same stuff that I do... or something along those lines. Zg can beat armada, amsah, and anyone in eu, allthough he's not the #1 player over there. As I said anyways, it's difficult to rank overseas players.. which is why I didn't say he was better(and which is why you can't make some biased post saying he's not even in their league)
And you're smoking crack if you think that someone who can powershield better than anyone I've ever seen, including axe, is unimpressive. Those were also the first vids of each set, I was thinking people might actually watch the sets.

I posted the one with the most powershields because it's more impressive, imo, than the typical tech-chasing / reading / gimping / grab **** on falco. THAT is what I call unimpressive, being that it's typical of a good sheik main(still good ****..). Someone that powershields that good(in tournament, might I add) can potentially immobilize falco's lasers if they're on. Lasers are somewhat valuable to falco the last time I checked.

Our point is in any match without hype M2K will dominate anyone else there is flat out. This means he is in fact better at the game, he just can't handle the crowds. If Melee was played in separate rooms, or online, etc. M2K would not lose and its unfortunate that he does lose because of atmosphere.

Man I just realized in our recent fox, and even falcon discussions... none of us mentioned mango and m2k's fox...and ****, even pc's fox in his last big tournament set with m2k, ****, that **** was beast. M2k's fox is a little off these days though. And with falcon... m2k, mango, and even cactuar should have prob. been on our lists.
Did ya'll see the recent sheik dittos between amsah and over(GF)? Usually a pretty boring match-up, but they made it somewhat entertaining.
edit: kind of silly to make johns about a crowd affecting m2k when he's been doing this **** for years and years, whether it's true or not. Saying he's the best under certain circumstances is moot. It's a bizarre claim to begin with omni, being that it's not plausible for those circumstances to happen. M2k is not the best currently, and i'd say it's a combination of not devoting himself to a single game(melee), falling apart under pressure(his fault), and m-go.
