Yes I'm buying all of these. It's basically for a collection purpose; I'm going to have as many notable games for each Nintendo system that I can get. My collection for Gamecube is essentially complete, unless there's some must-haves that I don't know about.

@TRC: I'm only getting Megaman X because it's a classic, and a game from my childhood. I have X collection for gamecube, so I already have 2 and 3. I also have Gauntlet Legends, although for some reason no memory card I have will hold a save file. It's something wrong with the game...

@Dyno: I already have all those games you listed except Donkey Kong 64.

Kirby Dreamland 3 is going to run him about 30+ bucks I think :L

A lot of these games are notable, but have a huge boost in cost. If you're really doing this with only 100 bucks, you'd be best getting underrated snes games

You should really have Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber, but since it only had a limited release in the US, its pretty expensive ($35+).

I'll aim for the hard-to-get ones as I go along. $100 was just a starting marker.

I mean, if he is doing this with just $100, then he's out of luck. A lot of these games cost 10-25 dollars. The good ones will run him a little more. I know this because I have a store right around the corner from me that sells these things and I do business with them all the time.

The best he can do is buy 5 game, MAYBE. N64 games run cheaper than SNES, but not by much.

By the way - Add Actraiser 1 and 2 to that list.

Super metroid
Kirby superstar
magical quest starring Mickey mouse
pilotwings
starfox

pilotwings 64
mariokart 64
banjo kazooie
banjo tooie
diddy kong racing

just mentioning some that may be overlooked, really most important one that hasn't been mentioned at all is pilotwings for snes, that game is too good and not that easy to find and is necessary for all collections

Like I said, $100 is just the starting point. I'll probably end up spending a lot more on the good ones, but I don't want any foreign games that'll run me $50. That's almost as dumb as buying a Wii game.

@XIF: I'll add pilotwings and Super Metroid. I have all the other games you listed for N64, and my SNES list is getting big.

I would call it an action rpg but it plays really weird. xD

And yeah Pilotwings is amazing, played that when I was little at my brother's godmother's house.

Magical Quest is another amazing game! Idk, how I forgot it. >w>;

Oh, also Terranigma.

Well, good games, like Super Metroid, will run you up to $30. RPGs like Final Fantasy II and III and Chrono Trigger will see a price tag of around $40-$60.

That stuff gets up there in price. I'm actually about to go out and buy Tetris Attack from the local gamestore. It's got some film on it, as if milk fell on it and was left to dry, but I think I can simply rub it off. I collect games and play them too.

Meh. Cheap is cheap (For that game, $80 is cheap).

I knew Dogy would be in here with that game at one point.

It's $25 on ebay, Dogy. No thanks

I already have Final Fantasy III, luckily. Earthbound is indeed pricey...I think I can be content with a Wii homebrew download...

Which Bomberman game is it that has minigames, 2-player co-op and light RPG elements where you feed a cute alien thingy named Pommy that gets stronger/changes forms depending on what food you give it after killing enemies?

I remember something like that for the GCN. Bomberman Generation. Decent game at the time, since the GCN was having a dry spell after its release.

If you get megman x, I'd recommend x2 and x3 as well. Especially x3 since Zero is a playable character in it. X1 is still the best megaman x game for the SNES though.

Imo it goes:

1. X
2. X3
3. X2

If this is all I've got for my list then I suppose I'll head to Play N Trade to start my search soon
