my Birthday smashfest: Come to it.

Also-Marth is cool in Brawl....that's about it. I played with TeeVee the other night and his Snake camps hardcore. It was fun playing him because he knows he camps too. I just hate playing people in one on ones who say they dont camp....when they do.

I want to get in some nice team battles on Brawl at my smashfest. Fo Sho.

I'll be playing Melee most of the time but Brawl teams...yeah...i'll be playing that too.

Camping is waiting for someone to make a move to where you want them to be or sheilding/sidestepping/evading that attack and then punishing them. It does not have to mean firing a projectile or spamming something. It's just a constant process of waiting for you opponent to do something that you want them to do.

There's a difference between camping, and using your brain.

Brawl singles is nothing but camping. Only the best players in the world play Brawl the way it should be played. Brawl is NOT A BAD GAME. It's the people who play Brawl and the attitude they have that make the Brawl scene weak. Also, the person who asked me this question now just plays Brawl competitively to make money.

btw Overswarm is a joke he mains MK after trying to ban him, so he definitley isnt one of the best ROBs. and camping kinda is lame Im not gonna fight that.

overswarm is a horrible player..he dosent play brawl he likesto go on camping trips. If he ever started playing me liek that i wood drop my controller and slap him in the face and then maybe throw a couple of chairs. He is a cowardly player and in that vid, pof he got his *** beat all the time unless he was 1231235757347 miles away from luigi. I can understanding camping but that wasjust plain sad and its not the first time i have seen players play like THAT.

shielding sidestep and evading isnt really camping and theres way around it. um grab shields, if you think theyre going to sidestep wait for it to finish then punish or use something that lasts long. its really rock papers scissors. ledge camping is gay and extremely hard to get around thats completely true.

I'm not bashing BRAWL as a game...I've grown to respect it and love certain aspects of it. I just hate how a majority of the players do result to camping. In fact, I'm definitely going over to Noodles house in like 15 minutes to play it haha haha haha.

I have this urge to play as Marth right now.


Also, as Dazwa stated, Overswarm is not bad...he is actually one of the most notable smashers on the boards. His MK is really good and he picked him up for good reason...hes gayer than ROB is. LOL

Yeah Camilo that was a very ignorant statement and he would probably destroy you. Pof what you said is not camping. It's doing dumb stuff that's easily punished. Shielding and sidestepping or even waiting out for an attack is so avoidable and can always be counteracted the same way if all else fails. Camping implies attacking. People at tournaments for Brawl havn't camped me much lately except for Lock at Mass Madness who camped me hardcore like a ***got after getting two stocked. Either way I could have easily won still but I was getting aggravated and playing dumb. If you relax and think about the situation, I find camoing easy enough to handle.

There is a video on YouTube were you can here someone calling his moves before he does it, and it was a close match against a very little known Link.

You clearly are lacking knowledge in of the situation if you think OS's ROB is good.
He is not a bad player by any means, but he is defiantly not smart.

He has that Sirlin POV and play style, but lacks sufficient knowledge of how to play it correctly.
