Quote for Absolute Truth.Facebook is cool.
People who have 500+ friends and update their status every 5 minutes with the most mind-numbing crap you've ever read (see; a lot of FB users), are not.
Not necessarily the case. Facebook has started taking on the casual feelFacebook is a more professional way to add friends and contacts online.
This, except I just did it to avoid getting the "AWW MAN YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GET ONE ITS GREAT AND HERES WHY!"I got Facebook because everyone else did. I didn't want to be left out of things considering people advertise their parties and stuff on Facebook.
This gets annoying, but I deal with it.This, except I just did it to avoid getting the "AWW MAN YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GET ONE ITS GREAT AND HERES WHY!"
Same here.I'm not really a fan of any social networking sites.
I'll talk to people over AIM, but that's pretty much it.
Exactly how I view Twitter also. I mean, do you really need to tell people where you are? It's like a mugging magnet.Twitter: Creeps me out. It's like a social site where all you do is stalk people.
Yeah... cause people who are on a site that is ENTIRELY about having friends, making new friends and socialising with friends are gonna be really lonelyAnd I don't really see Myspace/Facebook users as cool either, maybe lonely, but definitely not "cool".
This. It's quite useful if anything. When you guys graduate high school and your friends all move to different colleges hundreds and hundreds of miles away from each other, I think you'll change your opinion on social networking sites in general.
I use Facebook. It's quite nice and clean. Just stay away from the apps and it's really not that big of a deal as some people make it out to be.
