Idk anyone who uses Myspace.

Facebook is just a way to get with friends easier. It's good. I like it.

Haven't tried the other two.

But people say the same stuff about this site. Is this site really useful? It's a matter of opinion.

Myspace is a very casual way to add friends online.

Facebook is a more professional way to add friends and contacts online.

LinkedIn is a professional way to add business contacts online.

Twitter's a great way to promote yourself online.

Facebook is cool.

People who have 500+ friends and update their status every 5 minutes with the most mind-numbing crap you've ever read (see; a lot of FB users), are not.

Not necessarily the case. Facebook has started taking on the casual feel and spam of MySpace a lot more now. It's the hip thing now, so what's to be expected?

Anyway, OP, despite the two lines above this, it's all how one uses it. Judging every single person on a popular social network site is just goofy. They are used in so many different ways. I personally am on Facebook and use it just as a convenient communication tool to keep up with everybody that I personally know.

Myspace be dead, Facebook is now crap & dying. A new social networking site should be taking over soon.

I don't mind them, seeing as I use Facebook. It's neither cool or used just by 'lonely losers', a large number of people use Facebook to keep in contact with friends, chat whatever.

Although it seems to have morphed into people spamming group 'likes', so much scrolling.

I never got Twitter, that I agree it is pretty bleh. I mean, following celebrities and tweeting how you just finished ironing your favourite sweat shirt. I don't really care for reading that stuff and my life isn't exciting enough for me to tweet.

I got Facebook because everyone else did. I didn't want to be left out of things considering people advertise their parties and stuff on Facebook.
This, except I just did it to avoid getting the "AWW MAN YOU SHOULD TOTALLY GET ONE ITS GREAT AND HERES WHY!"
So I'm like, yea, I have it but I don't really add new people soz dude pl0x xD

I'm not really a fan of any social networking sites.

I'll talk to people over AIM, but that's pretty much it.

Myspace and Facebook are allright if you want to keep in contact with someone from long distance.

Twitter is just utter crap. You must be a big enough loser to think who would care about what you do every second of the day.

When you guys graduate high school and your friends all move to different colleges hundreds and hundreds of miles away from each other, I think you'll change your opinion on social networking sites in general.

I use Facebook. It's quite nice and clean. Just stay away from the apps and it's really not that big of a deal as some people make it out to be.

Myspace: No opinion.

Facebook: I use it to talk to people who no longer live close to me, find out about local events, and post some of my blogs. Most of it is people whining about their lives or saying things that make you raise your hands and yell at the screen "Honestly, who cares?"

Twitter: Creeps me out. It's like a social site where all you do is stalk people. I had an account for like two hours and that was all that I could stand.

Exactly how I view Twitter also. I mean, do you really need to tell people where you are? It's like a mugging magnet.

And I don't really see Myspace/Facebook users as cool either, maybe lonely, but definitely not "cool".

This. It's quite useful if anything.
