this guy knows what's up, lapras ftw

articuno is cool too i guess

i'd probably be some combination of ice/water/flying if i was a pokemon

i would also wander around tall grass or sit in a cave all day so **** that idea

vanillish's design and name actually get me craving some ice cream

I guess it's because its mouth looks like it's watering, which kind of plays on subconscious suggestion, and the -ish in its name makes it seem a soft and tasty

lol
game freak was given funding by dairy queen to do this i bet

Mink got banned

What is the world coming to?

If the world was full of raritys. I'd be in trouble.
A lil comic strip for ye.

maybe i'm weird, but the first thing i noticed when i saw this comic was "why is the title of the book on the back cover?"...

and i went to the unity ruleset thread, apparently mew2king is banned from playing in brawl tourneys now?

Rain is essential and furthermore have you noticed how hot it is this summer? (at least here in the US and related continents) More like you dislike Rain 99% of the time. >:3 Salty Rain hater.

Sides, what would we do without a purple water ninja that does kick-*** super roundhouses?
@mad - exactly. It's fine when you don't have to deal with it. I'm with rarity on this one. Unless you have to be out, Gtf out of it

I'm fine with some heat. I'll take it over the annoyance that comes with rain.

It's good once in a while, but I can't remember the last day it didnt rain down here

Is this what the community for MLP has turned into?

M2K was banned from all Unity ruleset stuffs.
Then Keitaro had the nerve to undo his ruleset so M2K can play.

Way to perpetuate the message that M2K can get away with anything anytime and still come off relatively free.

Along with ESAM leaving just cause of Brinstar being discussed as a possible banned stage...
Derp, two members gone in less than a few days. I'm just waiting for this Unity Ruleset crap to crumble beneath their egos...

unity ruleset would be a good thing if it had the same amount of tolerance as the pony thread
really, blackmail for not using the ruleset, and its not even a good ruleset at that
i still say it should have optional rulings on certain stages

Let people pretend they have power. If I run a national event without unity I still wouldn't let M2K in for manipulating placings .

and THAT right there is the sole reason I HATE the smash community at times. The rules are strict for everyone, but as soon as the popular one breaks them, they redo the entire thing. Such ******* BULL ****!!!!!!!

Rules are rules, everyone has to follow them. Just because he is good at a game, doesn't mean he gets to bend the rules to his whim. ******* hate it.

ESAM is leaving because he isnt going to be hosting anymore tournaments and one of the credentials is to be a TO, not because of any Brinstar discussion lmao.

And I doubt we'll crumble, tbh the committee has most, if not all big time TOs as a part of it :/

Tbh, we are pretty tolerant, M2K only got the boot as he's been consistently manipulating **** regardless of the fact that he's been warned multiple times.

And since when have we blackmailed people for not using this ruleset? I dont mind if you use it or not tbh. I'd recommend using it, but if you dont want to why should I be arsed enough to care? :p

hmm, not sure how i feel about that. seems like an unenforceable rule tbh, how could you know whether someone threw a game or it was genuinely an upset? isai threw his ssb64 tourney matches by going luigi, mango threw his match against taj in melee winner's semis, how do you enforce something like that?

The girl admitted to it, John.

What does that have to do with anything?

honestly recently it seems like the BRC is gonna start failing sooner than i had originally expected.
Which i'm completely fine with.

Well john, it was mostly due to the fact that Sade (the girl who M2K supposedly gave the win to) went up to the TO afterwards and told them that she shouldnt have won and to fix the pools if possible, so she herself felt that M2K threw the match.

@Spelt: Maybe because that means most people hosting tournaments will be a part of the list creation, which in turn means they will be using it. If all the big time TOs are using it then im pretty sure it will hold up.

That's implying people are gonna continue going to these tournaments just because you tell them to.

If people can sway one of the TOs to overturn a rule just by whining about it for a bit that doesn't leave much room for anything else to get done.

That just means the TO is being a bonehead and that they need to step the **** up, what does that have anything to do with attendance and the ruleset.

but that means that anyone who upsets a top player, and doesn't like them, can go and tell the t.o. that the top player "threw the match" whether it's true or not. it's a bad rule imo, for the same reason that a "no coaching" rule is bad: you can't enforce it equally and objectively, so it shouldn't be enforced at all.

Why would someone admit to them cheating their way higher into a bracket if it wasn't true...

I was watching the live stream of M2K vs Ally at Genesis 2... M2K was being coached. Kept saying it in the stream... but w/e.

btw, @Spelt with the picture.
