I think i should physically be banned from anime conventions of any kind because the people there would piss me off so bad within 5 minutes i'd probably end up fatally wounding at least 3 of them.

I know what you mean. There are some types of fans that piss me off too, and I'm sure cons are full of 'em. Unless they're Gin Tama fans, then I'd be able to overlook anything.

I've never seen death note. I don't particularly have any desire to see it either.

it's a really good anime. i mean, i've only seen like 5 animes, so take that for what it's worth.

I've never been to an anime con.

neither have i. i might go to one sometime this year though, apparently they are fun even if you don't watch anime much.

Well I might be able to get my Luna toy today granted I'll have to see if the good people at Target have them and will give one to me early.

Otherwise it'll be sometime near August 1st when I'll get one.

not really, those are just the over the top ones
me and my group of con buddies (typically, ones i onyl ever see at anime cons) are fairly down to earth. but yeah, a lot are a bit out there

Not really, though I'm sure that they weren't sold in the US yet, till very soon.
I knew of their existance like more than a month ago on EqD.

They have like, one episode DVDs that come with certain toys. There's been no confirmation on DVDs from Hasbro, but they're expressed interest as far I know.

@PG - Kmart, like Big Lots, is really unsuccessful in my area which might explain why it gets these toys. Walmart had a really lacking selection, probably because their shelves are filled with all kinds of Pet Shop/Barbie stuff.

Go for the first one, PG, if you're going to juxtapose her between Celestia. Otherwise either is fine.

I kinda torn between both. Not sure about Luna's eyes in the first one and I also noticed, but uncertain why Celestia appears to have plastic hair, but Luna doesn't.

The size and possibly how the wings are attached not to mention I get a strange vibe that makes me feel like the 2nd choice is using molds from the G3/3.5 mold.

So far I'll most likely go with the first one.

Just got back from Target with the DCPI number found on EqD for the Luna toy.
When I got to Target there wasn't anything on the shelf so I had an employee look it up. She then looked in the back room to see if there was anything despite it not being on the shelf's record (or whatever it's called since I forget).
When she came back she had...

JK. She came back with it and needed to scan to see if they could sell it yet. I was a bit worried that they wouldn't of been able to sell it to me. Luckily I was able to buy it now early and I've now the proud owner of my Luna toy.
