I thought it was about that Slenderpony fanfic... with the blank ponies being everywhere (I think) along with their leader killing everpony except for Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash who manage to get away and I believe kill it.

also the reason the game got me so much is because im pretty much immune to every form or gore and horror out there, except two things:
gore/horror directed to/from animals
old tyme video game horror.
