Does anyone own a pet here? Or have you ever owned a pet? If so, do you think the upkeep is worth the time/company?

Also, we have surpassed every other thread in this sub-forum for most posts. Congratulations to everyone who contributed. The stories were fun, some times where horrid, but above all else. We have many +1s.

One is awesome and amazing and awesome and the best thing ever and definitely worth it.

The other is a psycho ***** that is definitely not worth it and I regret ever making eye contact with her.
The little **** won't stop sharpening her claws on my bed no matter what we do. If we don't let her outside the instant she wants she starts peeing all over the house to spite us and she'll just randomly freak out while you're petting her and scratch the **** out of your hand.

I could really live without her.

The key to having good cats is to get them when they are kittens and raise them properly. Their habits form at a very early age. I've got 3 cats right now, all of which I started with when they were ~5 weeks old. Now they all sleep on top of me and I can pick them up and carry them in my arms and they don't get mad when I give them shots and 1 of them comes when I call her.

Back from HOBO 32, Experience was fun. But cause of being unable to sleep the whole time until finally getting one hour of sleep in 3 days I did quite poorly in the tournament.

I've always wanted a Rabbit. But back when I was a kid, I had a pet hamster for many years until she died of old age, anyways one day when I tried picking her up She apparently bit my finger hard enough to fill the bottom of a regular glass cup an ounce or two. I didn't feel pain but it still bled like A ***** and from that day I used a Toilet Paper Roll to get it out of the cage.

Cause of this I now have a slight fear to pick up animals like Rats Rabbits Hamsters etc. I can handle Lizards Dogs cats and such biting my hand. (Your cat is an example Tofer, I'm sure you saw him attack my hand a couple of times without me flinching)
But I guess anything with teeth in the form of Raticate makes me unable to pick them up unless they do the usual "Walk into Toilet Paper Tube and you pick it up for them to crawl onto your hand and never bite you for some odd reason" Tactic.

On the topic of pets, my family has always had cats.

On the topic of tournaments, I won the one I went to yesterday. Results. Yay.

I think I'm going to re-watch all the MLP episodes now that it's summer and I don't have any exams to stress about, at least for the moment. I do want to get this one qualifying examination out of the way in September, though, so I do plan on starting to study for that this week.
