Arguably as cool as Red.
I never liked his bandana, but eh priy cool

I am so jealous espy.:( I sold my gbc and my copy when I was like ten. It was transparent purple and I had a matching cobra accessory whose fangs were leds for nighttime play.

Is there a working emulator for GBC games?

Edit:@PhantomG: I would recommend Virtual Boy Advance. It will play GBC, GB, and GBA games.

Feeling guilty of piracy over a game that went out of production years ago?
As far as I have found out, (no serious looking though), having an emulator of a game is not an issue so long as it is used as a "back-up copy". As in, you already bought the game it shouldn't really matter. However, I do find it annoying when it is a hard find like those old FE games. Going as far back as FE2 would be hard to find available I believe, even through auction sites. Plus, fan translations are pretty useful for those non localized games I would totally buy if they came out.

Phoenix, do you have a PS3?
You can use the controller on your computer.
You can? I'll have to see if that will work. Work with my crazy disorder, that is.

No. I colour my pony drawings with a pirated PaintTool SAI, I edit mp3s before turning them in BRSTMs with a pirated GoldWave, I have downloaded and played many NES ROMs (as long as they're simple), I have never payed for any song I have ever downloaded (but who has?), and I love One Piece. I have no qualms about piracy.

All mother games hate me. They always get wiped some way or another. Farthest I got in mother 3 was club titiboo on my fourth run, then I gave up after that file got deleted.

Sucks.
I lost my Mother 2 file, but only AFTER I beat it.

And Mother 3, I saved after the final checkpoint, so I can't go back.

for grindy games like pokemon, i prefer emulator even if i own a hard copy of the game, because you can fast-forward through parts and the screen is much larger
Yay, that was a really nice feature to have was the ability to speed the game to about x10 the speed. But, the save states are very tempting and hard to avoid using on some games.

Also, the most stable and best emulators I can think of are:

ZNES - NES and SNES (auto-patch feature, very nice)
VBA (VirtualBoy Advance) - Gameboy color, gameboy, gameboy advance
Project64 - N64 games (no speed feature)
Dolphin - I think the only wii/gamecube emulator out there

I paid to download 2 albums once. They're two of my favorite albums.

Pure coincidence though. Nothing to do with how they were obtained.

i still dont get what you mean by simple.
I mean like early NES games, such as Balloon Fight or Ice Climbers, that don't require any real time or effort to play. You just turn them on and play for a bit to try and get a high score or whatever, and then turn it off when you're done. Basically, games that can be played in one sitting. Those are the only games I don't mind playing on an emulator.

I prevent save states because then I get reckless and it takes away challenges from the games at time. And, I sort of enjoy that frustration that comes from not being able to complete it. Even though I rage quit.

I hate photobucket now for bandwidth exceeds.

I just found my Pokemon TCG and my save is still there! :D

Album - 226/226
Play Time - 46:12

I know there's two more cards you can get but you can only get those randomly through that dumb card pop thing.

Pokemon Black and White were pretty damn great too.
White's been the most enjoyable thing I've played since Gold.

I like all the Pokemon games equally. Although people that are so hellbent on 2nd/1st gen being the best more often than not need to shut up.

Mystery Dungeon happens to be my favorite spinoff, though.

Zajice still hasn't beat Black.
He's probably actually still on the 3rd gym.

I love 2nd gen as much as the next guy, but it really isn't the best. That's cool if you think that, though.

I never liked Pokemon discussion because 9 times out of 10, everyone's blinded by nostalgia. Not like there's anything wrong with loving the old games, they were my favorites because they were fun back in the day. I guess nothing can compare to Silver and Gold though, oh well.

Although I do agree with Spelt though. I ****ing hate Stealth Rock. Like, you don't understand.

stealth rock x87

I liked it best.
lol Cynthia for first female champion.

Moves like stealth rock I thought are what made even regular battles fine. So annoying to run into someone who has a ****ing focus sash on every pokemon.

Except it's not JUST nostalgia.
it's the fact that they were good games.

1st gen was awesome, firered/leafgreen were super average.
2nd gen was awesomer, HGSS were SUPER AWESOME.

nostalgia does help, yeah, but i'm so bored of that argument. i'm not blinded by my childhood.
