Question.

There are ants about a 1cm in length that are black. These ants have started to show in increasing numbers at my home. Anyone have any ideas to getting rid of them? I had thought of those ant traps for infested areas, but they show up in random places and not sure where the entry points are.

Lighter fluid and a lighter. Burn them everywhere you find them. Might still survive, but they'll be in much smaller numbers.

inside, id probably make some chemical on the corners of walls and corners.

after awhile they should stop coming.
