I never got why it was posted in UB in the first place, and mostly I'm like "ugh this thread again", especially with the whole "must convince people to watch MLP" style OP.
sorry for the hate but I just can't stand fanboys of any kind
I didn't have control of the UB thread. Somebody else asked to repost it, and I said "why not" cause I felt it'd be rude to say no. Also, User Blogs sucks.
Then others (mostly the Pikachus, because ponies were scaring everybody away) requested this thread be reposted in here.
I originally made the DR thread because that was pretty much the only place I visited. It wasn't until later that other people actually got interested, and these other people didn't have access to the DR.
Those two are basically ded now.
PS: Move this to Media Metropolis if you really believe it belongs there. I could care less.
Today we learned that you don't have to like what everyone else around you likes. And if you don't like it, you can make it known, but you don't have to force your hate. Forcing dislike on something is just as bad as forcing like on something, sometimes worse because forcing dislike only spreads the word of that subject. It's like when talent shows use a noise meter to hear how loud the audience cheers to determine the winner, the louder you boo, the more of a boost the ones you want to lose will get. In the end, it may just be best to ignore what you don't like and go on with your life.
You know, since the show's staff is well aware of the huge audience outside the demographic they had in mind it would be cool if they had an episode where a pony (Big Macintosh) likes something to the dismay of other ponies only to find others like him who share his interest. Twilight's letter can be something similar to Leaf's post. That would be a huge nod (bigger than Derpy) to males 17-30 who follow the show.
Despite reading that last month... I'm still okay with Pinkie Pie. It made me like her more somehow, maybe cause I'm a timebomb waiting to explode.
Or i'm just plain sick in the head.
