I pretty much followed a guide word for word on this one. It came out much, much better than I originally expected. Would've liked to fix the legs a little bit, and the cutie mark was just a last second thing, so meh.

This is also the only pic I darkened, so the others might be hard to see...

Over the span of the next images you'll see that my patience for drawing starts wearing thin. I more or less did the same as with the first drawing, except I just fiddled around with little things, as well as doing it much faster. Reckless abandon too good. :>

My crappy camera doesn't do the next two pictures justice. This is a pony ogling a red delicious shiny apple on a rope. His eyes are cracked out and sunken in at the same time, and drool is pooling under his tip of his tongue. He really likes apples.

I don't even know what this is. Just a freaky looking pony with a creepy giant smile blowing steam from its nose. It's eyes look awesome on the paper, but the camera can't capture the tiny details I put into them.

I also gave this pony a mohawk, apparently.

eyup espy's got the basics of pony down, although pony 2's hind legs are a bit too thunderbolty
could probably make the corner smaller or a bit more rounder, but everything else is perfect

considering the last two drawings are a reminiscence of drawing insanity he and a good friend did back in high school years, i didn't expect the combination to take effect immediately, which i'll associate that as drawing rust. it'll smooth itself out as espy continues to draws time to time

btw espy, said good friend karl/trising is redrawing all the "monkeh" comics and has already uploaded the first two in his deviantArt~ it's **** time all over again

I only used still frames as references from episodes of Twilight reading (Griffon the Brushoff) and in bed (Look Before You Sleep) and Rarity in her gala dress (Suited For Success), but my third drawing I'm gonna try to use the ED guides and see how Octavia turns out

Aha! I knew you'd fall in love with drawing, Espy! Now you finally realise how much better drawing can be!

Also I never used a guide, I just looked at pictures of ponies (and OP characters) for reference. For instance, my Marco was based off of Applejack. Actually most were based off of Ajay, now that I think about it. I always looked through my Ajay folder first when finding a suitable reference.

Well like I said, I am not the one hitting on another guy.
So if the guy is hitting on me, then he is obviously gay/bi.

The way I have seen that guys do it is they are very discreet about hitting on another guy, and from the reacting they get they either lay it on more or withdraw and make it seem like they're just friendly.

I am horrible at weapons.
Drawing a person is just easier for some reason.
I guess because I do not have to think too hard about what to draw.
Eyes are in one place, nose, ears, hair, etc.

I explained why though.
It's just the way you react to how the guy is acting.
If they feel like you're reacting in a positive way to them then they will be less discreet about it.
A guy hitting on another is a lot secretive.
