I don't understand where you're coming from. I am not talking about stopping discussion of the main page hack or even discussion of my awesome modding skills. Do that all you want. I am talking about just copy pasting that one post format. It's no content posting.

Nobody copy pasted anything, they were all just expressing their feelings towards a topic currently being discussed that was surprisingly, even pony related.

There was really no reason to stop it besides your personally feelings towards the situation.

Actually, i kinda have to go with LT on this one :/ while there were hundreds of more opportunities for LT to accuse us of spamming in the past (probably more legitimate ones as well) they were pretty much the same post. However, i wouldn't go so far as to infract us. It was relevant to ponies, after all.

LT made a mistake and admitted it. I don't see why we need to bash him. I respect him for that. I don't like when people are critical of people in authority.

I don't really care what your intent was, LT. The wording and nature of your post, plus the context makes it incredibly unprofessional.

First off, we get this incredible sense of selective moderation here. The thread could have been close during the night of terror. Hell, most of the bronies here would have been in total agreement with the decision if the thread had been closed that night. No moderators intervened at all for hours, and more than anything, it was peer pressure that finally put a stop to the spam. If you had made a post to the same effect as the one you made here after the hack, it would have been totally warranted.

But you didn't. Instead, You posted after a very public display of Pony visible to just about all Smashboards visitors, when senseless hate and trolling in this thread is pretty much expected. You posted after five posts of a short-lived meme-like phenomenon, which had already fizzled on its own. Then your post itself is dripping with bias. Note that only that particular spam meme is targeted. There's no consideration that people may actually come in to be spiteful or rude. You come in and say, "You. Bronies. I'm watching you." It would seem more equitable to me to simply infract the spammers, and make a post that the bronies need to calm down, and the parasprites had better step lightly. In fact, having a mod here to help out with the trolling would have been nice. Instead, we're pretty much immediately put on the defensive, and made to feel punished seemingly because of something we didn't do. So Spelt pretty much hit the nail on the head when he called your actions unprofessional.

Well in LT defense he probably came here after the incident just encase it was our fault. So he was just checking in and saw spam and did his mod thing of saying no.

I personally believe the mods avoid this thread/pretend it does not exist because the only time I see mods posting in here are the mods that are Bronies and those mods are not assigned to Media Metropolis. Hence why the night of spam was not dealt with.

Well, if you or anyone want to wifi for Brawl I'm always up for that whenever I'm around & anybody wants to fight a walking sandbag/give me some practice.

As for during the next few months without pony I'll try to do the following:
practice drawing ponies
start watching some OP for the first time
checking out this thread as well as others

Seriously though I'm hoping this thread doesn't come to a halt because of the lack of new pony episodes.
