Luma: barring ledgehopped rests, ledge get up --> chain grab, or Dair --> reverse Knee (or normal Knee depending on DI), I don't think Sheik gets gimped that badly at low percents (low being 50 and less). Around 40+ ledgedashed tippers also become problematic so throw those in too, but beyond that I don't see how she's so gimpable at low percent.

I could be wrong, though.

sheik is easy to pick up, but she has much potential for improvement. i thought marth was the easiest character to pick up at first, fsmash+ easy shorthop and spacing. Marth is ultimately harder to become ridiculous with though. Fox is gay

as everyone already said, its an easy char for beginner level, but when it comes to real smash it doenst really care, and well it seems like you are just a beginner, so plz dont make statements like this because you are frustratetd that you are getting owned by any sheik, thx

Oh don't get me wrong. If Sheik returns to the level at low percent I'm sure she's taking 35%+ from the combo that will follow from most characters but my point is she doesn't usually die from it until she's over 50 or so.

Seems like most of high tier has some kind of edgehog gimp on Sheik though. Falco has his mini combos that send Sheik back off, Fox could throw Sheik up and take advantage of her crappy dair and minimal air movement, Marth could fsmash Sheik off, then edgeguard if Sheik is too close or edgehog if Sheik pulls back.

Etc.

Lol. All I gotta say is, let a good Falco out of your combo, miss a techchase. See what happens. Yeah, the combos aren't as tech as Fox/Falco, but spacies are so used to that speed, they're thinking just as much as the Sheik is. I play Fox and I play Sheik, just because one plays Sheik doesn't mean that they play because they can't handle tech skill or it's easier. Sheik is quite punishable. Easy to combo by most characters, and her Up+B is terribly punishable.

Fox gets Sheik off FD at a distance that forces Sheik to use Up+B. She's going to be forced to do one of two things, go above the ledge, or get on the stage. Either way, Fox will tear *** with an usmash or uthrow>uair.

I'm getting a little out there, though. Point is, Sheik is low tech, but really, is no easier a character than the others when it comes to a high level of play. You play smart, you win. That's the rule with every character. I guess that's the main point.

Now let's all play the game. If you hate fighting Sheik so much, play her. Nobody dittos you.

When you get really used to all of the tech stuff demanded you won't be thinking about it anymore.
If you're saying that fox/falco are harder to pick up and play you're absolutely right...
But the true skill of this game is being smart, and outsmarting your opponent. And this doesn't become easier because you're playing sheik, hence sheik takes just as much skill as any other character (except tech skill, off course), IMO. THAT is my point

and that sheiks recovery isnt easy gimpable is just bull****, you just cant really gimp her outside of the stage, so you have to punish the upb lag, i'd rather have fox's recovery with sheik

I think kaze meant gimps at like 10-30% (the kinds that spacies face all the time, especially against marth)
But if you get her off the stage and take her jump so she has to up-b back you get a free hit. And if you have a really powerful move (like falcons knee or marths fsmash) and if she's at atleast mid/low percent.... well, then you can just keep hitting her off in the lag until she dies. if thats what you meant i agree

So im lead to believe the event that happend didnt happen which creates a paradox to justify the previous paradox

but since justification is a logical way to grant purpose and reasoning to a theorized claim that would claim that a paradox is logical....which it clearly is not

With that said shiek ***** roy cause all she has to do is CC everything into anything and roy goes bye bye.

On a far more important note than anything zelda is also very very easy to learn. However to actually apply into a competitive athmopshere is a completely diffrent story...same with annny character. Im aware this was said countless times but im just giving my consent.

you are very opinionated and you're using your own personal experiences and not understand there are different playstyles, higher levels, and better tatics than you and your friends. all of roys attacks are easily cc by everyone in the game. when sheik counters off of a cc she can combo the hell out of roy. every grab leads to a combo. sheik doesn't use technical skill but she has her own problems. if it was so easy you dont htink for 7 years someone would've went gee.... maybe i should pick up sheik and make a few thousand every month on tourneys....

People knock Sheik's CGing all day long, but why is it such an issue for Sheik to do it when Marth 0-deaths Fox's out of uthrow all day? And what DK can do to Roy is pretty inhuman also. That is all.

I know they're harder to do than Sheik's (unlses its the techchase CG on spacies, that can get arguable, but moving on) but it's not the point I wanted to make. The point is, a CG is a CG. Whether it's a new Sheik player just doing it, or an experienced Marth player, for whom it becomes second nature. One just looks cooler. Oh, and it can be said for Ice Climbers too, but that's all they got, so I'll let it slide for now.
