it's called smash DI xD. You can jump out of Shiek's f-tilt lock after 1-3 hits. Even if it's decayed, you can still smash DI out of it. for this situation smash DI down and shield.
and again, this is only for Falcos that literally only go for the CG. If they are camping at all, let them camp and just zair with a bomb in hand and you'll be fine. Only use the Link bombside as a last resort against the geyest of Falcos.
You can in the lower percentages so I usually ftilt three times and dsmash but around 40%, i'm pretty sure there is not much you can do. I may be wrong on this but the spacies are all ***** by this and with Links fall speed, I can't imagine this being much different. Have you played Gimpyfish lately Deva? I know you live semi close to him.

Yeah actually, lol, which is why I mentioned it. I play SlyD's sheik more often but his is just as good as gimpys, and I think he beat Gimpy at the last tournament they were at together. But yeah, if it's decayed or at really low %s undecayed, just smash DI down and shield to get out of it, and at mid-high %s, decayed or not, smash DI up and jump out. I almost always get out of it within 1-3 hits. Sometimes if they're lucky they'll get off an u-smash but that's basically the worst case scenario. I can see where you're coming from though. If you don't smash DI it's an auto 70-90% to auto kill from an u-smash.

I don't think so, only for the fact that Dullrazor (a R.O.B. user I know of who is pretty skilled) always counterpicks frigate. I have no evidence other than this. But he likes it a lot, so maybe it helps R.O.B. in general.

Yes i just read that, that is one of his best stages and a good ROB player would always CP that. I havnt met nor played a good ROB so i need more experience against them.

I did an Online tourney and all was going smooth. I was fighting JamNtoast and got him the first round and he counter picked Frigate as ROB. Might be a good place for ROBs VS Link or just ROB in general.

haha, Jamn is from the same area I live in. Pretty nice kid. Yes, ban frigate, horrible Link stage in general, especially against Rob.

Well I asked Dullrazor what a bad stage for R.O.B. is, and I'll give the exact quote:

(16:07:47) sasook: hey dull, whats a bad stage for ROB?
(16:09:58) DullRazor: Sas... battlefield
(16:10:07) DullRazor: that's ROB's worst tage
(16:10:09) DullRazor: *stage
(16:10:30) sasook: interesting
(16:10:39) sasook: the platforms mess up his projects or something?
(16:15:03) DullRazor: he just has a huge blindspot below him...
(16:15:08) DullRazor: and that can be taken advantage of on B
(16:20:30) sasook: hmm, im not sure i follow dull. by blindspot, do you mean a certain area that he cant attack?
(16:20:37) DullRazor: Ya, sas
(16:20:40) DullRazor: or, in this case...
(16:20:42) DullRazor: can't defend
(16:20:58) sasook: the dair doesnt work?
(16:21:07) DullRazor: D-air is way too slow
(16:21:11) DullRazor: to use as a defense

that just helped my anti-ROB game exponentially. Thank you sasook

He told me he was ready to fight a Link since he's played yours a lot.

It's just barely not fast enough. There are about 3 or 4 frames where Link can retaliate, but that's not even enough to downdodge or airdodge the grab, so it certainly isn't enough for Link's nair to come out.
Plus he isn't in the air when the hitstun wears off.
