Music for DLC?

Yeah I can't believe they ignored Magmoor Caverns for Norfair twice now. You can argue that they are using Pyrosphere to rep the modern Metroid era while Norfair reps the classic Metroid era, but then why is Burning Lava Fish an option for Norfair when they could've just as easily added Magmoor Caverns? Also I don't miss the Prime Menu theme because I think the new remixed version of the Metroid title screen is a good enough replacement.

Then again, The metroid games I grew up with were Zero Mission, Fusion, Prime, and Echoes.


As I said with Metroid, it needs more love in terms of music

We absolutely need TTYD stuff. Like a legit Rogueport cover or the title screen/file select theme. And Inside the Castle Walls from SM64, especially if we got one of the SM64 stages back. Also a SMB2 medley would be good.

I'm surprised we didn't get a medley of all three Animal Crossing main themes, especially with all the medleys in this game.

I'd apprecite music from

• Mario Kart 8's rendition of Mario Kart 64's Rainbow Road

Come to think of it, one thing I noticed is that this game doesn't really like to include remixes of songs that weren't remixed by Smash,m for example, we never get things like Throwback Galaxy, Magmoor Caverns, any songs from Mario Kart 8 that were from retro courses or any songs from the Pokemon remake games. Some exceptions include Meta Ridley's theme (Which is almost a different song entirely) and the million renditions of DK Island Swing.

But I guess if they want lots of music in DK stages they have to remix the same song several times because DK Island Swing is probably the only song in the game because what else is there in Donkey Kong besides Jungles eh? I wouldn't expect to see places like pirate ships, mines, forests, caves, volcanos, lakes or castles in a one dimensional game like Donkey Kong. After all the legend Miyamoto didn't care for Donkey Kong so why should Sakurai? Animal Crossing however is filled to the brim with legendary tracks everyone loves, in fact so many that they wouldn't let one song in the game not get touched by Smash's song remixing grace.

I'm actually surprised we got such little AC music this time. There's 3 games worth of music now (not counting all those Japanese exclusive versions of Population Growing) and Brawl only had music from 1 (WW/CF had like the exact same soundtrack minus the City theme). Other than the City theme all the new stuff was from New Leaf but it was still only a handful, and they still haven't done anything from the first game. I absolutely loved what we did get so it's a shame there wasn't more of it.

The one I want most is Vs Champion (Pokemon Red/Blue), then maybe the Gold/Silver one. I also would have wanted the Vs. N (final) from Black/White, but they just went with the castle and mixed the credits in. Pokey Means Business would be another one I'd like.

I don't think so...All I know is that YWKON, An Obstacle in Our Path, Mechanical Rhythm, Engage the Enemy and the Medley are (which doesn't have Time to Fight in it either).
