Music for DLC?

To be honest I would pay for music dlc if they had it and there were a lot of songs that I believe should have been in the game.
So I guess just post 5 songs you would like in the game for dlc, and if you can't think of five that's fine too. I would like to see what kind of music you guys wanted in this game.

This. At least the song selection in this game isn't too terrible considering they have songs from pretty much all of the main games.
Even if there aren't any remixes, there are level themes that would go great on Windy Hill, like Green Grove, Misty Lake, Let the Speed Mend It, both Emerald Coast themes, Seaside Hill/Ocean Palace, etc.

None of the Crush 40 Songs or Reach For The Stars? The Windy Hill Zone theme, in my opinion, is one of the best starter level themes in a Sonic game.

Just to get introductions out of the way, I more or less came from the Battlelog forum (terrible place if you have been there) and the Combat Arms forum (even worse place.) Just tell me who I should look out for.

I'm a budding IT guy and a Senior in high school, I'll be 18 on Friday the 13th of February, and my college aspiration is to get a Ph.D in IT or Computer Science and maybe a lower degree in some other science subject. I only ever played a little of Smash 64 and almost 100% of Melee so not much in the way of Smash knowledge.



The main point of this thread is the idea of a free music DLC since we are already getting a Character DLC (Mewtwo) and a Stage DLC (Miiverse)

To start off, since there is that Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem thing, I wonder if Nintendo would be able to sneak in some SMT music (I haven't played any of the games so I am mostly using various links) such as:

This is actually a really good idea. And it would barely necessitate any manhours from Nintendo, assuming they didn't compose any new songs.

They could have a remix contest where fans create remixes and the best ones become DLC.

That series has too many possible choices so they should do what they always do and make a medley for each DKC game. A Donkey Kong Country 2 Medley would be godly.

I also want Hyrule Warriors music on the Zelda stages (Dat Skyloft theme) and more music from Super Mario Sunshine for Delfino Plaza.

We would have a lot of fun with that but I prefer not having unlimited options and I think that would probably discourage them from making more remixes. I think part of the charm of a song being in the game is the fact that the dev team themselves picked it specifically for that stage and the song being a remix increases that charm. That's just me though.

Yeah I can't believe they ignored Magmoor Caverns for Norfair twice now. You can argue that they are using Pyrosphere to rep the modern Metroid era while Norfair reps the classic Metroid era, but then why is Burning Lava Fish an option for Norfair when they could've just as easily added Magmoor Caverns? Also I don't miss the Prime Menu theme because I think the new remixed version of the Metroid title screen is a good enough replacement.
