I got the Welcome Edition of Tomodachi Life and put Rosalina in it. I somehow managed to get a really accurate personality for her.

Also, when it comes to the White Mage texture/vertex hack you made, did you use a Rosalina model? By the way, White Mage's name is actually Shirma/Shiroma. Although never said in-game, you can see her file name in the Mario Sports Mix ISO. I've seen it myself.
Just a tidbit.

It's not really a White Mage texture, as the White Mage's robe has red triangles on it. Also, the model is really Peach, but the model's vertices were altered to make her look like Rosalina.

Sure, there is a Rosalina model import for Brawl, but the import's bone structure does have some noticeable flaws.

Sometimes I have to ask why some people like to ruin Rosalina's personality with those captions.

Whenever I do Rosalina drawings, I tend to keep her personality as being gentle, regardless of the situation. Maybe a few tears on some circumstances, but hardly any signs of anger.

I personally don't have a problem with those captions. I actually think it's kinda funny. I know it may hurt people's feelings or Rosalina's personality, but I think it's simply made to illustrate a "pointless point". It's just there for the sake of being there.

My caption is in reference to the fact that Rosalina supporters were always told she could only be nothing more than a Peach alt/clone. Then she gets in as one of the most unique characters, and she's still controversial (people think Bowser. Jr, Toad, etc, deserved it more, or even characters from other franchises get brought in to the comparison).

Meanwhile, Lucina gets in as a straight up Marth clone and hardly anybody questions it, while still being bothered by Rosalina.

That screenshot plus a caption was a nice way to convey that irony.

I guess part of the reason for the controversy is the fact that Rosalina never engaged in any fights in the main stories, while Lucina did.

Of course, you could probably ask that same question with Peach and Zelda as well.

Rosalina has the fact she blew Bowser's fleet to smithereens.

And she is playable in 3D World, with her special power being the ability to actually attack enemies without a power-up.

So it's more in character for Rosalina to fight in comparison to a lot of other characters.

I know that Rosalina is in 3D World, but she's a post-story character; you never get to use her in the main story.

Super Mario 3D World doesn't exactly have a story beyond it's opening cutscene, so I don't think it means anything.

Even the "ending" is just kinda whatever, and feels more like a fourth wall breaking celebration of your gaming skills.

Unfortunately she isn't available in the 3DS matches, they had a few Wii U matches first though. Now they're playing and failing at the SMB: the Lost Levels...

As for how it plays, I'm not quite sure, DK had heavy damage on him prior and Rosalina got KO'd soon after it appeared.

I would think her down aerial would be overpowered considering it can meteor smash (I'm guessing it's hard to pull off).

Man... The person playing Rosalina & Luma could have done a lot better. He didn't utilize Down-B at all. I think Metal Luma might have metal properties, considering it was pretty rare. I think it might have gotten hit and didn't flinch.

Luma got caught in the Bumper TWICE. That right there is bait for Luma.

The same person who used Rosalina is now using Zelda, but STILL, he isn't using Down-B!!. He still managed to lose first, like in the last battle.

He really sucks. I ain't rooting for him, no matter which character he picks.

A few more Rosalina matches were shown with her facing Samus. However, Rosalina lost in all of them, with the last match being a major shocker for her; Rosalina had the lead, but then Samus made a comeback with her Zero Laser, giving her the win.

Edit: Another match with Rosalina was shown, where she went up against Pit. She easily clobbered Pit, getting the win as a result.

I think Bill's an alright player, he just keeps making obvious mistakes like keep the blasted Smash Ball away from the other players, or not taking advantage of a lot of situations he could capitalize on. I think the real problem is the commentators keep hyping him up when he's just average at best.

I'm a little disappointed I haven't got to see much of Mega Man (and when I did, he wasn't doing well), but I like Rosalina more. Plus, she is so beautifully animated on the Wii U. Watching her kick butt is therapeutic.

There was also some 1v1 play featuring Rosalina before the tournament proper began. The Twitch archive is here, although IDK how to link to a specific time stamp. At 29:30 there's Bowser vs. Rosalina, and at 42:20 some DK vs. Rosalina.

Yeah I saw those, I was pleasantly surprised that they opened with that.

I am now feeling deep emotional pain because I still have a while to wait before I can kick butt as Rosalina in Smash.

Even longer to do it as sexy HD Rosalian.

Either way I'm super excited to learn some setups with Luma. I fully expect Rosalina to have a steep learning curve but I can almost taste the salt from properly using her.
