Ive done smash cardio with Lovage to train in a way that allowed us to play well even after hours of grueling tournament play.

We played for four hours straight, no breaks (except maybe 1 bathroom and water break). My controller was wasted in the aftermath.
I think smash cardio is a very important part of players games.

Lovage broke down crying on the couch after the experience. I got up dazed and nauseous.

It was good because Lovage forces me to play as quickly and perfectly as possible, and I force him to think throughout the entire match.

I never want to do it again, but I'm down to do it again though.

I definately tried the Cardio today. Me and My friend started playing at around from 11-1:00 but he had to bounce. Then we played from about 6-9:30. It is very intense and hard to play and think at a fast pace for that long.

Are you guys saying that you don't ALWAYS play for 4-8 hours straight?

In Houston, any time we get to play is a momentous occasion and we always play as long as possible. Average time is 4-6 hours straight.
I usually end up just playing some of my friends for a little on and off. I never have the opportunity to just keep playing straight what with friendlies rotations where the larger smashfests occur, it gets a little hard to just butt in, hah.

lol i gotta agree with this...
when i play with my friends, it always has to last at least 4 hours... we've gone up to 10 hours...

lol i remember last year. it was finals week. and i was like "NO SMASH" to my friends... but i gave up cuz smash would help me deal with finals pressure and we played for about 8 hours
