and Vaati is a wind sorcerer. And if you think he is just that crazy eyeball thing, he's not. He has several different forms. Human, Semi-human, eyeball form w/ floating orbs, and an eyeball form with ghost hands. and that eyeball form in the beggining of four swords.

And wow, a piant brush. And younger turtle with a paintbrush is just as lame as an italian plumber with a super soaker.

I'm sorry, but when you say it like that, you wan make ANY character sound boring.

Andross will rock as a villain. Kaptain K. Rool would be better then the king. Bowser Jr. should stay out of the game. Ridley and King DeDeDe want to get in and Captain Falcon should get a rival. Also a Skull kid complete with Majora's mask or Midna on a wolf would add very unique villains.

in the first game they had no villians whatsover. then the added bowser and gannondorf. i think they should add some more common enemys/bosses. i mean, haven't you ever wanted to fight samus as ridly or beat up mario with a goomba? and it's not like nintendo doesn't have the resources. some suggestions would be ridly, goomba, metroid, paratroopa, octorock, and others from more videogames. that would improve the game a whole lot in my perspective.and giga bowser should be an optional player even if he is just a clone. but i also noticed that on melee's box it sais all of nintendos allstars.

He also happens to be one of the main reasons why the Koopa Kids aren't seen as much, which almost instantly gains him a whole bunch of negative rep.

Bowser should just be the only Mario villian, as I can't think of any others which are truley deserving (That's you, Bowser Jr.), and the few I can think of who are deserving (Kamek), would simply make the Mario series even more over-repped.

King K. Rool has a large chance, and seeing as he was a trophey in Melee, it isn't like Sakurai doesn't know who he is. Besides, I think it's safe to say that Sakurai is looking to make sure that the DK series gets more representation, and other than Diddy Kong, K. Rool's the perfect choice.

King Dedede might as well already be comfirmed at this point due to the huge amount of support he has and the fact that he was supposed to be in the original but was scrapped due to time limits, than Melee, but was scrapped due to time limits again.

The villians in the Zelda series are much more memorable than most of the allies, which is why I'd support Skull Kid despite Gannondorf already being in the game.

Ridley also deserves to be in just because Metroid is so under-repped (I don't care what everyone keeps on saying; Zamus is nothing more than a transformation for Samus) and he'd also be incredably cool and original to play as.

Wolf would be neato, but I can't think of how to make him different from Fox. Obviously he could easily be unique, but I can't think of how they'd go about making him an individual.

The only thing stopping me from saying Dearthborn is the fact that 1. He's obscure and 2. He's only appeared in F-Zero GX. And I count Samurai Goroh as Falcon's rival, instead of a villian.

Megaman does not need a villain. Because there are only 1 or 2 more third party addition, and a villain does count as a "character." We don't need Megaman and a foe to be in the roster, we need Megaman and Sonic.

Bowser Jr. can have a totally different moveset than Bowser. He can own people with that paintbrush!

If they are going to add one more major Mario character to the mix, I don't think it would be Waluigi or Toad, it would probably be Bowser Jr. He's been in a lot of games lately. Plus he rocks, he'll make it in!

Not everyone needs a villain. The Starfox series doesn't need need 4 characters, Wolf looks far to similar to Fox as well.

As for K. Rool, I'd much rather have Diddy and the DK series doesn't deserve more than 2. Plus K.Rool looks really lame.

K. Rool, i don't really care if he is in or not, but he is the Dk villain, IIRC he has been the villain in all games, he deserves to be in, althoug i don't like King K. Rool, but Kaptain K. Rool would rock.

King K. Rool DOES have a spiky crown. i'm pretty sure i read somewhere that spiky crowns are only worn by really cool cats.

whether u like him or not, K. Rool deserves to be in. he's the donkey kong version of bowser or ganon. screw diddy. DK has it all over him anyway. besides, as if one hideously obese reptile is enough in ANY game....well, perhaps bowser is just big boned....

main charaters will always triumph over villans. Villans appeare for only 1 battle (maybe more than one, depends on story line), but the main charaters will be not only there during the entire game, he/she will also be controled by the player, thus being more developed.

Pokey from Earthbound would be a nice add for villans...

This is a great idea. Wart needs to return. I am suprised he wasn't included in any Mario kart games. But this is his big chance to be re-invented. Although his chances are abysmal.

I say we need: King DeDeDe, Ridley, Andross, and perhaps Kaptain K. Rool (although Wart would also be a nice addition). It seems like huge reptillian/ amphibians seem to be the common theme for villains.

I agree that villains for villains' sake should be avoided. I like guys who are anti-heroes rather than actual villains, like Wario, Bowser(?) or Dedede ( who would completely own, by the way ).
I don't like K.Rool. He's a wannabe Bowser of a different species and without that lovable villainy charme. ( *hugs Bowser* n_n )

Ridley would be awesome simpley because he'd bring something new to the game. Good thing that he and Dedede are very likely.

But yeah, Ridley and DeDeDe are the villains I'm rooting for most. I'm also not against the idea of Wolf or Dark Samus getting in (and Black Knight to some extent), but I don't feel their inclusion is as necessary.

And while Villains shouldn't be added for villains sake, it's always fun to play as the bad guys for a change.

first off, ridley is one of the rockingest villians nintendo have ever created. also, why would u say that whoever made this thread about villians is dumb, and then post a list of villians you would like to see. do you see the hypocrisy? furthermore, while none of the villians on your list has been officially announced by nintendo or sakurai, they have all been discussed in this "dumb thread".
