Monthlies in SB? Oh and Nezumi is here

I'm thinking of holding monthlies at UCSB once school starts.

Venue fee would be $5 (it's big... can hold over 100), if people are interested we can have a food bar where food would be ridiculously cheap (courtesy of the nearby costco). I would need at least 20 to show to make this possible.

Entry fee to the main brawl tournament, and smaller melee/64 tournaments would be $5 each.

I would probably put a maximum to the number of entrants to melee/64.

For those concerned with number of setups/amount of money won this should not be a problem.

The first one especially will be big because I will hold it during freshman orientation week... at a nub 64 tourney I went to last year during that week there were 50 people there.

Anyway is there enough interest in this from the competitive smash community?

Oh and Nezumi is here. YAYUH. Whoever is staying at her place next weekend... we should plays some brawl/melee/64/w.e.

Well if you read almost any post on the Falco Forums... you'll know what I'm talking about. But basically, Falco's down taunt sounds like he says "Hands off my Bread" and the up taunt sounds like he says "Pizza Cake." LOL...

Also, if you guys could post here whatever dates tournaments are... Or Dante could just tell me. Haha.

nah dante first week of school when you move into dorms you don't do **** except go party lol... don't even have classes

freshman orientation is boring as **** and class sign ups are stupid go for later hours doesn't matter what you pick since its your first quarter.

wow holy crap while i've been in hawaii sb smashers have all come out of their caves lol

the other day a guy contacted me with like a group of 6-8 smashers here >< they're going to be here when school year starts late september though

venue will be at the goleta library conference room most likely. equipment... i have like 5-6 setups between my friends and myself (i just have a spare tv lying around for this occasion lol)

hopefully ppl pull through for 3-4 more set ups to make these monthlies quick and fun.

im going back to sb on monday... hope you guys repped at oxnard

and monthlies will definitely be on weekends... probably saturday from 11am-whenever
