Not sure whether I can agree with that or not. Manipulation isn't something I'd look out for as a scumtell and hypocrisy seems to be a bit of an exaggeration. I think 'inconsistent' is a more fitting term for how he's been playing. I don't think he's aware of the things you call him a hypocrite for as he makes his posts.@~ Gheb ~ - Jerkus's play has been characterized by manipulation and hypocrisy.
Posts like this don't really help your case, you know ...Your philosophy towards AtE is so warped it is making me actually cringe.
Soul Calibur quote, by any chance?Wind, guide me.
Okay, let's look at it this way...Not sure whether I can agree with that or not. Manipulation isn't something I'd look out for as a scumtell and hypocrisy seems to be a bit of an exaggeration. I think 'inconsistent' is a more fitting term for how he's been playing. I don't think he's aware of the things you call him a hypocrite for as he makes his posts.
@But yeah it's probably not possible given the dont-lyncg-inactives culture of dgames, the up coming deadline, and all the v/las.
I just feel like scum scary would have claimed just then.
I'll put jerkus at l-1 unless you think my reasoning is wrong.
Thanks for the quote! I get it now, no worries.
so? that's still more than absolutely nothing, and plus, my point stood more with the "little to lose for lynching that slot" argument, ESPECIALLY for D1.But the only connections to or from Kuz are the most recent ones, the ones calling for his lynch? And if he's town it can be easily covered up as "oh we were just lynching inactives." We get nothing meaningful out of the lynch minus a single, nonconnected flip and removing an inactive player.
i assume because people might second guess themselves if he claims something like a pr.Thanks for the quote! I get it now, no worries.
And I only say it's rushed because the lynchee isn't even back yet. I want to hear him again. Why is waiting on Scary a bad idea?
In my opinion it's not the extent of manipulation or the inconsistency that matters [good manipulation can't be detected so easily anyway] but it's the intention and the awareness that matter. I'll repeat myself but I do not think that J is aware of how hypocritical and inconsistent he tends to be as he makes his posts. If you attack him or if he feels himself exposed for one reason or another he can be quite a *****. To make it clear, I don't think you are wrong with what you say or that I can't see where you're coming frrom. I just don't think that you'll get what you're looking for by lynching him.Okay, let's look at it this way...
1) I can agree that single instances of manipulation are not necessarily scummy. Townies can pull gambits, withhold info, ect, and it doesn't have to be scummy. But when a given user's play is characterized by manipulation, when their posts routinely dodge criticisms, appeal of emotion, twist other player's arguments, AND avoid offering real arguments and logic... isn't THAT play considered scummy? Play that is manipulative through and through?
2) If we go with a player being inconsistent, how far does the inconsistency need to go for it to be considered scummy? One or two inconsistencies could be considered normal. But if a user's play is consistently inconsistent, what does that tell you? I pointed out my issues with Jerkus's play DAYS ago, and it has yet to be properly addressed. The inconsistencies continue.
Not sure why people continue to tolerate your constant bull****.Not sure if I like the kuz push over the scary vote by zen.
Sieg hei- I mean yeah! Exactly!"Stop having an opinion gheb and actually conform to people you have no faith in"
