And me and su hit up a 32 man brawl tourney at CSUS earlier. The guy running it said that only CSUS students could enter, but everyone there said it would be fine if I entered as long as I forfeited to 2nd place if I actually won. There was no losers bracket but Su and I got lucky and didn't have to play each other until grandfinals, at which point he was declared the winner. LOL, noob/legito crew represent

lol, it was just a bragging rights tourney. Free entry, winner gets a plaque with their name and picture on it posted in stan states game room for a year or something. Oh, and a poster roughly the size of a pool table (with the cast of brawl characters on it). Most of them were just casual players; very few actually went to tourneys. Su went Rob/Olimar, and I went all zelda though. Most of the people there left thinking that zelda's top tier lmao.

Yeah, you probably could beat me with ganon though. I'm terrible at brawl (which says a lot about everyone else who attended)

You guys should feel bad though. Especially if the people from CSUS are just beginning to play since these sort of things discourage people from trying to get better. They're better off playing each other and slowly getting better. Ah noob brawl kids.

And hypothetically speaking (assuming I had 5 tvs, recording equipment, and a venue already picked out), if I started hosting smash tourneys this summer how many of you guys would actually go? Cuz I'm highly considering it but it's pointless if there aren't enough people interested. And yeah, I asked this 6 months ago but you all probably have different **** going on now and some of you (kenny, anthony) don't seem particularly enthusiastic about smash anymore. Hell, they could just be smashfests or $1 entry tourneys if you guys don't feel like wasting cash. But let me know
