Is there a chatroom going on that doesn't suck ***?

I think being just a little irate about this is reasonable. The chatroom has been a point of much anger over the last two events, hasn't anyone noticed the massive amount of complaints in the chat about how ****ty the chat is, because it posts everything you say to your facebook? Yeah, that's a good plan.

Is it possible for MLG to set up a chatroom that doesn't suck massively? I know a free AJAX PHP chat script MLG could use... Or is there a Xat we can use or something? Cuz the facebook chat is just a massive waste of space up at the top of the site and is worse than almost any other chat I have used.

Well I mean yeah it's still annoying and it still posts on your wall, but before you can go into the chat you can hide your wall so it's inactive so all your friends don't see 100 billion updates because you are in the chat. Then you just make it active again after. I think it might not even post on your wall when you deactivate it but the only downside is no one can see your wall/post on it when you have it inactive.

Yeah, I agree a regular chat would be better :/.

MLG streams never have a chat (Halo, etc) and thats the best way to keep it. I hope if Brawl ever gets a stream, that chat is disabled.

The issue is less with a chat with the stream and more with the fact that we not only have no stream, but we have this facebook-spamming monstrosity taking up half of a page on the second-best style on the forum. And there's no good chat unless someone sets up a Xat.

Yeah, if you change styles, it goes away. Shame most styles outright suck. And yes, it's worthless and a gigantic pain in the ***.
