Still pissed that I only got 7$ and I was supposed to get 14.

I hope your not serious. I lost a lot of money this tourney and with the exception of you getting 12 instead of 18 (that was the actual numbers) I am the only person bearing this lose. Even Alex the other TO is not bearing any of it.

Look, all of this is just stemming from some lost money. If you make your money back and charge a door fee, then you can profit and there will be no more monetary worries, just as there were none before this Billfest or any NC tourney in memory. You have a great thing goin here Bill, and it would be a crying shame to lose it over one petty act of greed that caused an unfortunate chain reaction such as this. We can get through this bro. Trust me.

i understand your choice either way. iv only hosted 2 tournements myself btu if some of the stuff went on at mine that did at yours id be extremely frusterated myself to. im gonna hold some tournies 1 or 2 over the summer you guys just in case you wondering. itl be in cornelius NC. most liekely comics n games. ya this was the first bill fest i got to go to i had a ton of fun. me and my bros tom josh and willy drove more then 2 hours for this it was well worth it i think. so if you do decide to have again let me know il try and help if possible iv ran a few tournies so i might be able to help. thanks again for all the friendly bros there for my first time. you all made my ICs and Pit feel right at home xD. except that stupid lucario >.< i dislike him greatly >.>

my stupid controller wudnt work for ****. couldnt CG controller sensitivity andknowing your controllers points and speed are vital in CG. wish my controller wuda been workin normal im confident i wudv sen tthat lucario packing.

Peepee, if he keeps hosting tournaments I can guarantee you this won't be the last time something happens to the money, stuff, or the place. If **** happens once, it will happen again. Just paying back his losses and charging a door fee won't solve the actual problem, unless we want to do this every couple of Billfests.

Honestly, if someone was willing to steal all of that money... let's just say that it would be both easier and more profitable for someone of that mindset to grab any number of things in your place.

I agree with Bill. If people are disrespecting your tournaments, they'll keep doing this, and it just gets worse. Billfests were awesome, but we need to stop being selfish and realize that hosting the tournaments is still a huge effort even without any losses or mishaps. Asking for him to take our money and keep hosting is a bit selfish.

I was probably too mean here, and I don't really mind people trying to support Bill and then try to work out more Billfests, but really, you can't fix it.

The problem can easily be fixed by having someone in charge of money, and perhaps too many snacks were purchased to begin with. The first bag of chips I got, I tried to give the money to Bill and he told me about the money box, and I thought to myself "****... someone could easily.. nahhh, no one here would do that". Obviously I was wrong, but still, all money used to make any kind of purchase or cover any kind of fee should be in a trusted person's pocket at all times. Bill has every right to not hold any more tournies, however, there are definitely preventative measures that could be taken to ensure something of this sort doesn't happen again. BILL I WILL BE YOUR OFFICIAL BILLFEST SECURITY GUARD! It'll give me a reason to act my age (which I plan to do at future Billfests if they continue lol sorry bro)! I'll support any decision you make but just keep what I said in mind.

It's not his fault that you lost money out of other people stealing so you shouldn't be upset with him. If he wants to help you out, he can and it would be nice... but he's not obligated to at all.

Don't let the stolen money ruin such a good thing. Billfests are one of the greatest experiences ever. I've never missed one and they've all been amazing. Don't take those away from the community.

Talked it over with Alex there will be more billfests (keep the names coming Ace), there will be a door fee, I am still pissed but I'll get over it. Expect a discussion topic soon so that we can all agree on some details (e.g. brawl before melee?).
