Not sure how but this week hasn't taken too long for me at all. Usually is the exact opposite when there's a new Smash character coming

I didn't get the pass this time, so ill have to figure out how to buy her from the shop while everyone's slowing all the nintendo servers :p

It seems like it's been an even spread between morning, afternoon, and night so far. Did everywhere get the 29th as a drop date? Might be able to figure it out based on that

In the UK trailer, the release date is listed as the 30th.

I assume that means it will be later in the day in North America (I've seen people say somewhere around 7-9 PM, though I don't know which time zone that would be for), but I'm not sure.

iirc, byleth released around 8PM EST over here so, I'm guessing sometime around then. Though maybe bumped up to 9 assuming Daylights Savings is now in place

Kudos to all Min Min supporters. In terms of move set potential, I always thought Min Min was one of the best possible candidates. Not only his her design iconic, she wields a unique weapon in Arms. Ergo, I’m glad she got added.

Overwall, I’m actually looking forward to trying her out. She seems like a zoner, which suits mine playstyle. Biggest difference between her and Robin is (1) she uses melee weapons instead of projectiles, and (2) she’s strong in the ground while Robin is strong in the air.

There has been a lot. I do hope people keep making Min Min art even after she has been out for a bit. Would love to see an art piece of the entirety of Fighter Pass 2 eating at her ramen shop once the last character is revealed, as that would be a great image.

Belated congratulation!

While I haven’t played ARMS yet, I have alot of appreciation towards the passionate team behind that wacky yet intriguing world of it.

So, it honestly didn't surprise me that Min Min was the character chosen, though I never excepted Sakurai to adapt the two-controller gameplay of ARMS over to Smash (I should have excepted more out of Sakurai.)

Anyway, can’t wait for tomorrow & I hope you guys have a smashing time!

'Twas the night before Min Min and all through boards
Not a creature was stirring, not even a cord.
The Switches were plugged in the wall with care
In hopes that Sakurai would soon be there.

The smashers were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of patch notes danced in their heads;
And bae in their nightgown, and I in my cap,
Had just settled our brains for a short summer’s nap.

When down by the TV there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.
Away to my setup I flew like a flash,
Turned on the TV and started up Smash.

The moon from the window of my lovely abode,
Gave the lust of light to the Switch Dark Mode.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear soon,
But a miniature ride, the legendary Dragoon,

With a smart young driver, so lively and spry,
I knew in this moment it must be Sakurai.
More rapid than eagles his helpers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

“Now, Mario! Now, Luigi! Now, Marth! And Robin!
On, DK! On, Diddy! On, Lucas! And Falcon!
To the top of the Switch! At the top of the date!
Dash away Dash away! Deliver the update!”

As dry tweets that before the tweetstorm fly,
When they meet with a bug, patched to the sky;
So onto the switch the entourage flew,
With the patch full of fixes, and Sakurai too.

And then, in a twinkling, I saw in the game
The coding and reworks by each little name.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
Onto my couch Sakurai came with a bound.

He was dressed all in textiles, from his head to his shoe,
In his pockets, a pitch for Kid Icarus II,
A bundle of songs he had arranged for his games,
And he looked like a gamer, albeit one with a name

His eyes-how they twinkled! His dimples how merry!
His cheek filled with joy, his nose a double cherry!
His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,
And the hair of his head was of one in the know;

The stump of a pipe he held in his hand,
Was based off the model from 3D Land;
He had a broad face and tall slender figure,
That watched with intent with each final smash trigger.

He was tall and slim, in wonderful health,
And I laughed when I saw him in spite of myself;
A wink in his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And finished the update, then turn with a jerk,
And laying his finger aside from his nose,
And giving a nod, on the Dragoon he rose:

He sprang on the Dragoon, to his team gave a whistle,
And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.
But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight,

Less than 24 hours until drop. It's probably gonna be at night but I'm praying that by some miracle I wake up and she's already here

You know, an ARMS metroidvania spin-off could be a lot of fun... You unlock various ARMS toppers scattered around the map, letting you reach new areas... 2D long-distance-attacking bossfights...

i know right?

It feels like only yesterday where I crafted this thread knowing she had little to no chance getting in lol. Look what a good year and a half could do,
