How does that explain the ridicule you tried to give Bardull post game for his play, if you knew what he did was correct?

Because what I'm trying to say is that there are certain people who will test his metal, not all players as town are going to do exactly what you tell them to do, or even be cooperative.

Yup, Kuzi got it. That was the final nail in the coffin.

In the event both players are Townie, they need to find SOME WAY to trust each other to both vote for Player X. That's the only way they can win. So, the fact that Soup put his trust in me that I was Town (shown by him voting for Player X) was contradictory of the fact that he wasn't willing to answer my questions and was the definite scum slip.

But aside from that, Soup was pretty scummy all around; his vote was a super scummy reaction and read to me as manipulative and desperate rather than genuine with townie intentions. Hell, just about everything about him was untrustworthy and scummy. He was playing defensively/manipulative from the start and wasn't trying to get a real read on me. He wasn't asking the right questions or providing the right pressure.

99% certain Soup is trying to "save face" because he thinks I'm terrible and doesn't want to look bad. I'm not terrible at the game dude, get that idea out of your brain and accept the fact that I got you and it's nothing to be ashamed of, holy ****.

People don't HAVE to answer my questions, but to not answer them is anti-town and scummy, especially if we have a common goal in mind. You "testing my metal" was just plain dumb and was working against your win condition. Congrats on being bad.

Then Soup, if you knew what Bardull would vote you based off of, why the hell would you consider to do that? It's more important to give someone what they want than to stick to what you think you would do as town. If Bardull would have voted Player X had you have cooperated, you should have cooperated.

I don't think meta can come into effect much when it is this short a game(or should be anyways).
I can only convince you by being town.

Oh, it's a two-way street of course. I'll be honest in saying I'm at a loss myself as to how to go about this.

Actually, here's a question: Why do you believe that this should be a short game? Without a rigid deadline, isn't it capable of being a long game that goes on until we are certain about our decision? Why does the length of a game affect your meta on a player?

More time length to the game allows Meta tells to show. That would be helpful, except it is only two people so there are no actions to trip each other up on(aside from voting). That said, you kind of need to really on gut a little. I said it should be a short game because i don't want to hold everything up for everything behind us lol.
