Scum won't claim a role they don't have or can't fake. That doesn't mean they'd get one that's not meant for or gamebraking for scum to have. Starting roles were not specified to be random, nor was "random" specified to be completely random. I doubt we'll be seeing a Jester etc., get me?

No you didn't. You broke the game with mechanics but you did not confirm anything besides that, I find no incentive or anything useful for us to do this, unless you specifically want actions done on certain people for a reason, and if that's the case, tell me who and why.

That's not entirely true. My role is PM'd to the mod. If someone has a kill or ability I doubt they have to post in thread. Role confirming is still important because there's nothing stopping me from saying I "Tracked X to Y" and really being "Z". Especially in the case of our powers which in the hands of scum would be very powerful, and in your case borderline game breaking. We need to make sure as few people as possible could be just BS'ing these for time to gain more negatown.

The names of the roles don't help.

Fynal can see what actions were used on a dead player.
J can see what actions were used on an alive player.
Red Ruy can see what actions a player used.

My role doesn't need to be confirmed as it can confirm itself.
Ditzy's role doesn't need to be confirmed as it can confirm itself.
Soup's role is a passive and can also confirm itself.

Negatownie most likely chose one of townKantrip/townRR/townDietz for their ability that makes them more likely to become negatownie simply because the three of us are the easiest to lynch. Just something to keep in mind.

Now, we can try to confirm as many abilities as possible this way: Lynch Ditzy and have him override it. Get our next lynch target to hammer Soup. Have Fynal investigate their body. Have Red Ruy investigate Fynal. Have J also investigate Fynal to confirm Red Ruy. After all that is said and done, I can bomb someone as we lynch our next target, assuming we didn't find the negatownie the first time.

the evidence for my bombing yesterday was extraordinarily lame, and seemed to consist mostly of "fynal has been scum before" paranoia, not my play. J is probably the most experienced player here and him going through with it strikes me as very odd. heck, in the first post I quoted, he talks about lynching based off play, and doesn't even mention me. Then suddenly its Kanty, bomb Fynal.

this is undismissably anti-town from my point of view, town suicide bomb is an extremely dangerous way of getting rid of a potential scum in this case, because TWO townies die and TWO people have the chance to come back as scum (which luckily i didn't).

now, please, lets get rid of this scum. I stand by him hammering soup as well, and i'll pre-vote soup if that's what you guys want to do.
