This post of mine from yesterDay still largely stands as it is. Kantrip has moved up on my scumlist because he has followed Gorf's baseless wagon against Vinyl and his interactions with FML look bad in retrospect. His carefree approach also seems very put-on to me.
I can get behind dabuz' push against dietz but I think Gorf/Kantrip has a higher chance of containing a scumbag between them [if not both of them are].
Vinyl still hasn't done anything and I'm not willing to tolerate it forever. On the other hand I really don't see him as scummy at the moment. I hope he actually gets to contribute something toDay.

Very few opinions does not equal you don't know what to think nor is it too weak, it means you actually some minor ones, AND those minor opinions can simply be shared to give others some thoughts. Just because you put single vote on fml does not mean your vote wasn't serious. The only thing I can agree with is meaning for assumption. Anything with the word "if" shouldn't be taken too seriously.

If you were at all aware of my meta, then you'll know that I NEVER put weak/unsupported opinions out for discussion. I have no interest in putting my name on ideas that I know could be wrong. My typical town play is to armchair like a boss before creating a crazy avalanche post that (usually) nails scum (even if town doesn't get behind the lynch that round). Soup's lynch in FE:A is only instance where that technique failed me outright, but even the scumteam that game thought he was at least indy. :-/

Really the only time I break from armchairing is to make small little gambits like my vote on Rake D1 or if we're up against a deadline. Even then, I'd rather allow a no-lynch to hit due to time than support a lynch I have no confidence in.

The inactivity this game (of which I have been a part) is making it hard for me to get solid reads on a lot of players. So I'll need to do a full reread to (hopefully) make sense of things. Not promising I'll have much on the other side.

Sidebar: We absolutely should not run an 8-player game back here again. The 3 day deadlines just make everything worse, not better.

So it seems the entire case on me is based on my vote on FML and the ensuing explanation.

Town is Gheb, Rake (FML?), Gorf, myself.

Scum is somewhere in the pool of Xatres, Potassium, Vinyl, and whoever replaces Zen. Something about Xatres' 3009 seems very faked to me.

No real content in this post yet Xatres sounds dead serious on FML scum. This game also doesn't have like, anything to base real reads off of yet. Something about having very few opinions after reading looks like a way to post fluff since none of the opinions are present nor is there a push. The last line is just such an awkward thing to ask, hell, it's awkward to correlate creating a hydra to having rolled scum.

Dabuz argues his point based on one presupposition: "There is not enough content to base real reads off of yet."

Based on this, he assumes that my "dead serious" vote on FML must be motivated by scum intent. Somehow, based on no evidence whatsoever, I supposedly tried to push a terribly lynch as scum and assumed people would go along with it. That's basically saying that I am both dumb AND scum.

When I offered the explanation that I was simply baiting reactions, I'm told that I'm covering something up. There are a few problems with this scenario.

1) In the post before dabuz says there isn't enough content to base real reads off of... he posts real reads. Either there was enough content or their wasn't, either way you are contradicting yourself.
2) A townie baiting reactions or even a SCUM baiting reactions are both more likely scenarios in than me being scum trying to sincerely push a mislynch at that stage of the game. Neither of those options are given serious consideration.

Basically, the case against me right now is kind of garbage. People who have played with me before can vouch that I'll admit when a case against me has merit, and this one really doesn't. We've wasted far too much time on my slot with these abbreviated days, of which I am to blame for being active. Let's try to use the next 6-12 hours more effectively.

I believe other people have postulated this in passing, based simply on their individual reads and/or seeing how they pair in thread. I'm going to avoid those arguments and make one that I might have been the only one to pick up on.

Gorf and dabuz are the only two players this game to consistently screw up my name (calling me Xast/Xas instead of Xat)

I haven't played a game with Gorf in over 3 years (back in the GorditoBoy69 days), so he shouldn't have any bad habits left related to my hydra. Dabuz, on the other hand, last played with me in FE:A, where I was hydra-ing with Dastrn. All the other players from that game had issues getting my name right during their next game we played together.

Looking at dabuz's and Gorf's posts, you see a pattern. Gorf pretty much screws up my name every time, despite having very little reason to do so. It's been far too long since he played with my hydra to make that mistake on his own. Dabuz, meanwhile, gets my name correctly in most of his more logical and thought-out posts (read: edited), and gets in wrong in his more casual posts (read: unedited). This implies to me that within a scumteam chat log (which is very casual) dabuz is using my name wrong like crazy and rubbing off on Gorf.

As I said, crazy funhouse logic, but it's a trend that stuck out to me that I thought I'd share.

I have my conclusion on the game but I don't wanna post specifics till I have a comp to organize my reads an why they work. If I don't get my comp before deadline I'll paraphrase and whatnot but were in a REALLY sticky position.

Guys, we NEED to lynch scum. If we lynch SK, scum wins. If we win town, scum wins. If we lynch scum, it's still anyone's game. So nobody is getting lynched that's not concluded as mafia.
