I feel like this is just a list of most posts > least posts. Why do you have Reader as 3rd highest based on the logic he's put down so far?

Dietz I want reads from you because your questions aren't helping me.
So far Zen can live and I want to like Reader for his solid logical posts. I like that he didn't like your empty vote and followed it up.

I think Jex could do better in terms of actually getting something done instead of commenting, but isn't doing bad at all and can probs live toDay so we can try and find the scum I think is lurking in the more experienced player-pool.

Beyond that, I'm reserving judgement until I see some more...

J when you get back here kung-fu fight with me a lil, I'll be on and off practicing blazblue and looking at skype.

Alternatively, Jex is here and we can talk maybe?

@ JeXs JeXs : Help me get in your head: what parts/logic had you most liking Potassium's string of posts here?

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean by strong. Also, good string of posts! I like it.

I like that he's actually starting to do something other than voting for newbies.
That string of posts helps with understanding him a little better.
I still don't understand his previous actions though.

He's been sincere with his posts. I'm not quite sure what to make of his voting pattern. Need to get some enlightenment on this issue.
He said he thought he was preying on the weak, but why would he do that?

Okay that wasn't as clearcut as I'd hoped, you ate that up and spat equal FUD right back. I was hoping you'd just go "Yeah he's sincere, I said I liked them" and I could write you off for the entire day but you left the door open :\

(Full disclosure I think it'd be dumb to write off Potassium's slot as one way or the other right now, but if you'd had done it it woulda been an easy noobTown tell for not going for the potential swing-around momentum)

It's generally bad policy to lie if you're town anyways. Not without a good reason, and not for something like this. I don't wanna give the impression that giving what you think back to a question is somehow the wrong answer as town under normal circumstances.

Ditzy, I am here to kung fu late night fight.

On a different forum, that would mean something completely different.

What did you think were my intentions when I voted J?
To be honest, I wasn't 100% sure about them. You didn't really have any good reasons to vote J, so I didn't really think you wanted to kill him. On the other hand, if you wanted to pressure J you could have asked him more questions. When you gave your vote, but didn't question J I wasn't sure what you were aiming for.

Potassium said:
Do you understand why J and me voted for JeXs?
I think that I understand. I believe that you wanted to pressure JeXs.

Later today I will make my own most scummy > least scummy list with proper reasoning.

@ Kantrip Kantrip can you explain your "preying on the weak" actions?
I thought it was pretty easy to infer after my posts.

With nothing to go off of, I wanted to throw votes at the new players to see how they react to being pressured early without reason. You immediately identified what was going on and realized J and I were pressuring you. I switched to Reader after he made his first post to do the same thing since my vote wasn't doing anything on you.

I begun making my list and realized, that it is still too early to finish it. I will complete it before day 1 ends. In summary, I believe that JeXs is not scum and that Zack is hitman. At the moment I think that scum lies within Gorf-Dietz-J.

I'm not sure what to make of Dietz making JeXs jump through hoops and then incriminating JeXs for it.

I think I want to say Dietz is going for an interesting angle and trying to read JeXs, but he's pushing too much and his conclusions are a little off-base.

I do think it's peculiar that JeXs asked me to clarify on my earlier actions only after Dietz asked about them, but the slot is still a townlean for me.

Vote: Gorf

I asked you to play, not defend yourself for not playing.

Zen/JeXs can live toDay. Reading Reader as soft-town.

Gorf/Kanty/Dietz are who I am looking at for now. I kind of want to see a Gorf vs. Kanty fight because it'll help me out.

Kewl. If you'd like an insight on my personal life I'll be working tonight and tomorrow afternoon performing for a musical like I did last night, so if I sleep over my friends house tonight like I did yesterday should I let the thread know of it or should I just assume it's not the end of the world n live in the real world? Cuz I'd sure hate to look like a liar or something.

Oh and before you mention a-game-that-doesn't-exist, it's much easier to keep up to date on a game that is multiple pages in than to give insight on a game that was just started.

I mean Gorf has a point. This game is going to be, by nature, much more relaxed and the players are not going to be taking things super seriously. Trying to condemn him for that fact alone is poor.

Now, you could try and condemn him for his actions in the thread and that would be a different story altogether.

Wow all I was trying to say was that he has done lots of posting in this game but it's all been armchair stuff and I wanted to see his posts incorporate something game-related.

He made a post saying he'd explain his reads when he got home, so I'm waiting for that. I'm not saying he has to rush or post more, just that I want his posts to be less armchair and more game.

Gorf has become more of an armchair player though. It's how he eases himself into games until he sees a read to go gung-ho on. At least, that's my perception of how he plays as of late.

Kanty, if one of Jexy or Reader are scum, who would it be and why?

JeXs.

Reader going to make a list and then realizing he didn't have enough reads to do a full list reads as really genuine and townie. All Reader's play in this game has kind of stuck to this principle. Open, honest, genuine.

I don't want to give Dietz's stuff on JeXs too much credit because he was kind of setting up for the answers he got which is kind of meh, but JeXs' wording leaves a lot of doors open and it irks me that JeXs asked me a question about a comment I made only after Dietz was asking questions about me.

So because Reader is genuine he is more likely to be town? Could he be genuine scum trying to find the other scummy and also genuinely trying to not get NK'd by not stepping on too many toes?

I could see Ditzy's questions as honest, but neither came out of the argument with any town-points if that makes any sense? I mean, I like Jexy based off early stuff but his response to Ditzy just kept him at all.

My list of Gorf/Kanty/Ditzy is mainly due to me having stronger reads on the other half of the playerlist.

Also Gorf has given us reads, so there's plenty he can go gung-ho on next time he gets a chance to post.

I don't need a life story, and I'm not saying it takes priority. Get to it when you get to it, but I'd like to see game commentary/expansion of reads.

I mean I guess the fact that there are two scumteams of one changes things and everybody will be "scumhunting" to an extent.

The only problem I've had with Reader is wording being awkward. Everything else has been open and unprovoked.

JeXs has said things that lean more towards other priorities. Not looking scummy, keeping lynch options open, etc.

I would say your early hop-on vote to me, your vote on Kanty earlier, and your eagerness to the game. Based on your psychology presented, would definitely see this more of a TownJexy>ScumJexy. It's weak reasoning but that's all I got right now.

I'll throw in an extra read and why too: Zen is town because lolHitman claim. He could be lying, but for D1's sake I'm okay with having him live.

Seeing as to how nobody CC-ed Zen, I'm inclined to believe he's hitman. No reason not to really.
Also, I never voted potato.

what was the tag for .-.?
@ #HBC | J #HBC | J Why did you tag gorf and I in that post? I'm really curious. Also did my tag in this post succeed in giving you a notification?
Gorf is no longer a poop.
What did you like about this post?
Imma wait till I get home to make a more solid conclusion, but so far I'm thinking scum lies within jexs-j-Dietz, solely based on the fact that the other three read as town. Zen I think you're a duck for thinking me being too nice is scummy, I honestly just don't wanna scare the newbs away... Just yet ;). I am, after all, the one that suggested treating minis with newbs like semi newbie games, so I'd be a hypocrite to just treat em brashly out of the get go.
Fair enough. "Too nice" was a half-ass answer however. I feel you are treading lightly as not to step on any toes. I don't feel any intent to catch scum and get a sense of cautioin. Basically like you're appealing to people. The following are my examples:
When we hydra'd were we contract hitman? I feel like it probably would have been beneficial for you to keep this under wraps lol but ayy at least I don't have to bother reading you.

@ JeXs JeXs this is zen. Generally he's nuts.

Contract hitman if you're out there it'd be way beneficial to CC #freescum
The way you address this feels as if you are doing so for the sake of doing so. It just comes off ingenuine, as you don't really take a hard stance.
Oh and I'm going to go ahead and be openly against you and not vote j off of your premonition.
Comes off to me as fishing for brownie townie points. Again, I feel like town-gorf would not be so cautious and would actually be more inclined to push the wagon for the sake of producing content and getting out of RVS.
Ayyo Kantrip I feel you n all but like if you're thinking what I think you're thinking that actually points to em being town.

@ R Reader

How does JeXs' vote translate to a scummy action? Why would scum blatantly follow the wagon for its own sake? I like that you're being open in your interpretation but I feel like you're a tad misguided in how you formulated your read.
There is absolutely no point to this post. You do not think that Reader's questioning was scummy so then why ask the questions. Why not let Jex and Reader interact.

Out of curiosity, What did you feel Kantrip's reasoning for voting reader was? I imagine that you didn't see anything.
