I feel there is at least one to two scum in the pool of Koopa/TSYK/Kary, but I'm in a pickle as to who exactly is the scum between them. I feel Rat's lynch will help me figure some of these shadows out and I'll be able to give more concise opinions.

REALLY curious how you come up with that pool of people to look at.
also would like to know how you think Rat flip will help explain anything.

J is the weakest of the Mafia reads though, so lynch him only if no one else looks more suspicious by the time he's last up on the block.

I'm getting good vibes from J, but too soon to tell.

I'm pretty sure TSYK is scum, but then, everyone felt that way about Rat.

I really think we need to take a closer look at Kary. Other than some random ass push on Reaper, he hasn't contributed any actual content. Just jokes and snide remarks, but no real activity. J, in your scum pool, I'd add Reaper. Kary does have a legit point that he's playing super conservative. Other than that, you're spot-on imo.

I'm gonna go back and read the thread now. My laptop is broken so this is all from mobile, so expect a distinct lack of formatting.

I'm not exactly bandwagoning on you. You and Green are both suspicious to me, but I can't very well lynch the one with no votes and less evidence, now can I? To your second point, I'm of course not saying anything is confirmed here yet. Simply something I find suspicious in a random vote phase... Especially since you made a point to say you're not doing it because of Green's reasoning.



I don't know why he'd create that connection... That's an excellent point. However, I still find it suspicious that he'd say to conserve his vote, then aggressively target Rosa. If he'd voted for anyone else, maybe. But he joined another player's vote before any proper suspicions were given. That's not a random vote. That's a vote with an aim to get a kill in.


Speaking of Green's reasoning... QUESTION FOR THE MOD AND/OR MORE EXPERIENCED FOLKS!

Well, no. I can understand being new to the game and doing this on the first two pages, but it seems like you're using inexperience as an excuse. Your defense is still...lacking, rubbing everyone the wrong way.


I honestly don't see how. His "So sure about that?" and "If you think I'm mafia, your loss" is essentially saying 'fine kill me then' which would be a horrible idea for a townie to say.

and that's fine in itself, but it sounds like you're giving yourself an excuse to do nothing- basically because you don't seem to be actively trying to get to know the other players.

Hey guys, look! The one non-IC duty post in the entire thread Kary made that could be considered maginally helpful! (That was an exaggeration, but all of Kary's marginally helpful posts are along this line of thought.

Kary seems to be pushing everyone and is insisting on people answering questions, which could either be to generate "town" content or be a pro-town action to be legitimately scumhunting.

I did a double-take and was momentarily confused by RR because I was like "Red Ryu isn't in this game", but on the topic of RadR, I'm a bit wary. He seems to be trying to be SUPER friendly to you, agreeing with nearly every of your statements and steering you towards a Koops vote. You brought up your own mostly-valid points about Koops and when you wanted verification on why you think Koops is scummy, he came in at #172 and stated his reasoning, which amounted to nothing more than what he thinks a good scum would do (which from my experience, is wholly wrong) and then goes to state a theory which Kary already said was garbage (and I agree with Kary). At the moment, nobody is super suspicious other than TSYK.

My opinion on Koops, while we're on the topic, is the same as my opinion on Kary (although with slightly more of a scum lean). He could have easily misread my post and since it was still in RVS, tried to grasp at a straw to get us out of RVS and into the main phase, and since he misread my post, accidentally pulled the wrong straw so that the scarecrow fell on him. It might have been scummy behavior and I'll keep this in mind in case he becomes a stronger scum read later, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and say that he was trying to get conversation rolling so that scumhunting could commence.


Back to AP Comp Sci.

He set a "trap" that did nothing but de-rail conversation for a bit.

His "your loss" post just OOZES scum. That kind of reverse psychology is more scummy than town-like.

Combined with the bandwagoning and minimal meaningful game input... Just doesn't look good for the guy.

Frankly, I find it a touch odd you'd be defending him. If there were more people who saw good in him, that'd be one thing, but so far you're the ONLY PERSON defending him.

This still holds true. Kary and TSYK are at the top of my list for day 2 (as well as having a look at reaper.) (Holy ****, Paper Boats is amazing. Yall need to go play Transistor.)

Yeah, I posted it a while back. On page 3, he says something to the extent of "I was voting for (forgot who it was) but since everyone's voting for Generic, I'll help out and vote for him". Then when someone called him out of it, he responded really poorly (in my opinion) and now he's voting for RadicalRat. I just find his whole playstyle irratic and untrustworthy.

So far, Rosalina has just been posting reads, and they've asked a few questions. They've done nothing to make me think they're scum, but they've also done nothing to make me think they're definitely town. They give off good vibes though. Town lean.

I'd like to talk about Rosalina a bit more.

Frankly, I find it really unlikely that one of the mafia members would be killed by a werewolf, as werewolves need to keep the suspicious ones alive if they want to remain undiscovered by the townies.

Lets keep this in mind when evaluating tonights' kill.

I would lynch RadicalRat because he is super shifty, and every active player has commented on him at least once, so we could use the reveal of his role as evidence to find the other scum. I'm like 75% sure he's scum. I would say higher, but overconfidence has been the death of me in previous mafia games. At this point though, I definitely want to lynch him.

as for my leans..

Null: J, Omar, Kary

Spak: Slight scum lean because of his lack of original content, but I feel like this might be due to his large amounts of schoolwork. I definitely want to see more from him, but as it stands, he's pretty shifty.

RadicalRat: SCUM /READ/. There are contradictions in his theories, and his views seem to be changing rapidly. Also, while he has posted a lot of meaningful content, some of his posts gave me the sense that he was just trying to seem active. LASTLY, some of his posts look like preparation for evil plans to come.

You: Strong scum lean. You seem a little too concerned about getting on everyone's good side. Your reads have been changing at a pace that feels unnatural. You've stated many times that you are town, which is a little bit weird. That being said, you've been one of the most active players, which is a hard thing to pull off as scum, and you've generated a fair amount of meaningful content, though you've mostly been asking questions.

Slickwylde: Town lean. He's made a couple suspicious moves, but overall, I've liked his content.

Koops: Most of his posts seemed to be focused on self-defense. On the other hand, I don't feel like he was given much of a choice during the "Koopa Kraze", and I feel like it was just that, a Kraze. I also don't like the fact that all charges against Koopa were led by Radical and Generic. For defensive play though, and a lack of helpful content, this guy is a scum lean for now. I'd like to hear more from him.

Rosalina: Slight town lean. Good content, but I'd like to hear more from them.

ThatSmasher: Scum lean. Way too focused on self-defense. I want to hear more from him.

Green: Slight scum lean. They haven't done much to gain pro-town points for me, but they've been posting a fair amount.

For the teams, I could be way off, but if I had to guess..

WW: You and Radical. The two of you are far too chummy, and it doesn't feel like you two have ties to anyone else.

Mafia: ThatSmasher, Koops, and Kary. ThatSmasher and Koops because they both seem fairly scummy indivudally, and Kary because she could be trying to subtly defend ThatSmasher.

Zalak, how has this changed now that RR has flipped?

Slick has made some very suspicious posts, and I am NOT just letting him go...

But I don't like Kary's overall attitude. It doesn't make sense for a Townie to be refusing questions and only giving half-answers to the ones she does respond to.

That said, she HAS been raising some fairly good points. But I maintain that you can't just completely ignore someone for being scum in a game with multiple scum factions. Conversely, someone isn't guaranteed Town for finding some scum.

I forgot this happened. I'm afraid I'm gonna get ninja'd by Gheb and accidentally post this at night. Let's do this in parts to be safe.

Everything after this is a jumbled mess or in recent memory. To sumarize my conclusions:

Investigate Kary, TSYK, Reaper, Slick, Koops,
and Zalak in that order tomorrow. Everyone else is good vibes/nothing incriminating. I get a really strong town lean on Zalak, but he could be smart scum.

Yeah, Bastion was incredible. Transistor beats it out in both soundtrack and gameplay though.

Slick because Rat may be on to something about his scummieness. Plus, I'm getting bad vibes. Reaper because he's been very suspiciously safe/quite since about page 20, like he hopes everyone forgets about him.

ThatSmasherYouKnow is still pretty suspicious in my eyes. He needs some more investigation though as one of my points against him turned out to be false. I also want to hear more from Spak. Most of his posts seem to just be explaining why he hasn't been active. In addition, I've got a bad feeling about the Omar slot.

Also, I see some people think Slick might be scum, while I've got him as a town lean. What exactly makes him suspicious? Did I miss something?
