A Hero requires a villain.
Lucario is a Pokemon, so the villain must also be a Pokemon.
Villains have more savage hearts than any other being.

I'm not a fan of Lucario (at all) but I gotta admit he looks pretty cool here.

You know, this update got me thinking that I can't wait to see how Falco looks in this game.
Krystal aside, seeing Falco reconfirmed would have me pretty hype. Doesn't seem that day will be anytime soon tho.

Looking forward to more Pokemon veterans ASAP. Diddy Kong reveal will probably come before any other reveals, and I'll be happy to see him again.
I really want to see another Pokemon veteran soon. Lucario wasn't even the one I was hoping to see the most, and he's got me hyped as heck now. Any other Pokemon veteran reveal at this point would increase my hype so dang much.

I swear to God Sakurai made this update awesome just because of this epic video.
Booted up Brawl and did some dashing in Training Mode. That's the very start of his tripping animation.

If mewtwo is in I kinda hope he's constantly in his/its Y megaform. I'm thinking Lucario's final smash might be a mega evolution so it'd be kinda....dull(?) if two pokemon both have mega evolutions as final smashes. I mean I'd be cool with it, but I'd like them to make Mew-two and Lucario (spiritual successor) to be as different as possible. Mega Mew-two Y would focus on speed and psychic moves while Lucario focuses on raw Fighting strength and technique.

I've always liked Lucario; I really wanted him in Brawl, but his moves were so sluggish for a Pokemon that was supposed to be a fighting Steele type. Hope they change some of his moves to make him more martial arts-y, but not to the extent they did with P:M, way too convoluted and tried to hard.

Guys Toon Link renewed my hope in the potential "heavily speculated to be cut" characters really making a comeback. Lucario just furthers my hope. Now, I can say that it's pretty safe to assume that IKE, LUCAS, WOLF, JIGGILYPUFF, ROB, and POKEMON TRAINER will all make a comeback as well.
