This is practically confirmation that Lucario would have been cut. But it also pretty much confirms that everyone is returning.Extra comment:
"Lucario joined the battle for the first time in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, which was released six years ago. The production staff of Brawl worked really hard to expand the character roster--without their efforts, Lucario probably never would have joined the battle."
Snake will be cut for sure. So, with both Toon Link AND Lucario confirmed, can we cut out that 'may be cut' crap?
Sonic will be cut too-oh wait.Snake will be cut for sure.
Just for you buddy (:No words... no words.
And Mega Man will never be added.Sonic will be cut too-oh wait.
I was really hopping this for a second.FYI: Lucario is a Pokeball Pokémon
Someone mentioned a anniversary of fire red/leaf green but I don't think that is it and it may just be randomOh OK, I wasn't expecting a Lucario reveal. What a pleasant surprise.
Though you have to wonder why he decided to reveal him now of all times...
Reading that comment again, though, d'you think he was referring to Brawl? He brings up Brawl's production staff and their hard work, after all. This is practically confirmation that Lucario would have been cut. But it also pretty much confirms that everyone is returning.
Snake is a one time deal pal. Sonic is practically owned by Nintendo now.Sonic will be cut too-oh wait.
It sounds to me like he was referencing the Brawl team's hard work, not the team this time around.Reading that comment again, though, d'you think he was referring to Brawl? He brings up Brawl's production staff and their hard work, after all.
But it would appear that I was wrong and that I am an idiot...wow, I am truly surprised (not at my idiocy but of there actually being a reveal that corresponds to an anniversary) I guess this should keep me to have more of an open mind and not be such a jerk...Hey guys! there's totally going to be a character reveal today because it's the anniversary of some game that a character in previous smash games is from. So, obviously Sakurai is going to reveal that character to commemorate this occasion, unless he's trolling like he always does because he TOTALLY knows the original release date of every game that all smash characters are, there's no way that he doesn't keep track of such trivial information at all times.
I may be coming off as a jerk, but that's what everyone who keeps on bringing up anniversary dates sounds like. I'm certain Sakurai doesn't keep track of the release date of games that are over 10 years old.

Also, is anyone still believing that we're not seeing unlockable characters anymore?
