I am hoping Sakurai takes a day to elaborate on what is clearly the most interesting thing shown in Zelda's reveal. The Phantom is clearly a moveset component, but whose? And what does it do?
Or maybe we get both. The Zelda Phantom is a pokemon.

But then again I can understand why regal could come off as stuck-up to others. xD
Zelda has always been my fav Nintendo princess... Peach is a bit too... Ditsy for my personal tastes.

How Long Have I Been Asleep?
Does anyone find it fishy how Zelda and Link are continuing with the realistic, Twilight Princess edge instead of mixing in the newer designs? Makes you wonder what's coming down the pile regarding Zelda U. Remember, the Zelda team and Aonuma gets to influence design, so I wonder if we're getting some early hints about the next game.

It's not very suspicious at all. Using the Skyward Sword designs would require extra work to replace Ganondorf and Sheik as characters, OR to develop new designs for them from scratch. Improving the quality of the Twilight Princess designs is just less complicated.

Well, maybe they could use the design of TP Ganondorf and put it on a more... lean and athletic body? Maybe?
With how similar Link and Zelda are to their TP proportions, I don't hold out much hope Ganondorf will be drastically different physically than he was last time.
Though I'd much much rather have OoT Ganondorf back. Ah well.

Maybe. Make a hybrid between the two. But yeah OoT is "relevant" again thanks to OoT3D so thats a thing. Itd make OoT Ganondorf more plausible I guess.

He was a slower Captain Falcon in Melee. It's just that in Melee, he was still good because they didn't dumb down his speed to the point that none of them were possible (Brawl Ganondorf *cough*) to use in a normal match. Oh and, he had nice aerial attacks.

To clarify, I'm not suggesting there is going to be a Twilight Princess sequel, or that it is even likely, but the Zelda team might be looking into a design style that caters more to Western tastes, so to speak. Something in the vain of what we saw in the E3 Tech Demo years ago, only stylized.

Agreed. Ocarina of Time Ganondorf actually looks like a young man, whereas, Twilight Princess Ganondorf resembles an old man. It's no wonder how he became so pitiful in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Well that makes sense considering hundreds of years have past between the games and it's the same Ganondorf. I'd imagine he's quite up there.

I feel like pointing out, she seems a tad more realistic now. At least now you can tell she's an adult, not a really tall 14 year old.
And even if it when from A to D, you can still make an argument for realism, think about it:
In Europe (upon which LoZ is partially based), the King found a queen in one of two ways. Count three branches to the left on his family tree, in the direction of his choice, or, and I believe this to be the Hylian case:
A highly sophisticated and surreptitious method for arbitrating which outsider-mate would be the best to help the country survive.
And even if it when from A to D, you can still make an argument for realism, think about it:
