Zelda's and Sheik's reveals have always been separate by wide margins.

Which I never understood. Heck, this was even the case for Melee and Zelda was the last of the starter characters revealed. The wait between Zelda and Sheik for Brawl was a groan worthy 6 months so hopefully he doesn't try pulling off that nonsense again especially when we've already waited that long for ZSS.

Glad to see her design! And some of those screenshots screen the level of detail in emotion in the characters. I know it's normal to have it on other games, but in Smash it just feels so refreshing.

Hoorah! Zelda - the first time we've actually predicted something! I think that the Phantom is an assist trophy too - Zelda has a unique moveset so I'd be very suprised to see it changed. Plus, I can't see it appearing, attacking and disappearing. It'd look weird. That being said, we haven't seen any of her attacks so who knows!

Hopefully Sheik comes soon and doesn't take up a whole month. Unless she's cut... wouldn't be the end of the world.

Zelda seems to be more like her TP Concept Art rather than her TP Model.

Note the coloration of the "flap" in front of her dress.

Yay Zelda~ my sis was jokinginly ranting about how unfair it is that all the blondes get into Smash Bros, so glad shes the TP version...even though we kinda knew she would be since Link is his TP version. Not much is surprising about Zelda, but shes really pretty like everything else in the game! Not much surprise, except for that Phantom...it'd be pretty funny if thats Toon Zelda revealed way early and in disguise haha But yeah, if Link and Zelda are TP versions I guess TP Ganon is too with a new moveset and Demise can be a boss or something. I dunno... seems odd that we would get a double-reveal like that in one day, especially when one reveal is already a character, and we had an assist trophy yesterday. Keep in mind this would be a brand new assist trophy, too... and that we already have a brand new Zelda assist trophy on top of that! Really, how many new Zelda assists do you think there'll be? Maybe two if Tingle is gone, but I'm banking he returns as an AT. And if this really is an AT, then Sakurai is playing a very tricky joke on us, considering Zelda's connection with Phantoms.

One important question to ask is, do we have any evidence of Sakurai giving big reveals like this in character pages before this? I would check, but I am tired and about to go to bed I don't think it's an AT, but it also scares me to think it could be her new down special. Well, certainly lots of speculation to be had here, at any rate!

Also, imagine if they changed Zelda but just left Ganondorf as a ****ty version of Captain Falcon. I would laugh and cry at the same time.

Honestly, in regards to the Phantom being an attack or AT, we know jack. Sakurai breaks the mold again by breaking what people thought was the norm.

"Oh the banner's up? No way we'll get a character." And you can't even pull the Sonic argument here. She was revealed via site, not direct.

95% positive this is Zelda's "Transformation" pose. This pose as well as Zelda retaining her TP outfit instead of her SS one tells me Sheik is looking very likely at this point.

As for the Darknut attack I have no idea what it could be...
