Why be upset as Sakurai totally hints towards NFC figurines which hints to them being shown at E3 because this week is clearly all about hinting at E3 because that's just how it is!

Leila is all I love in this trophy. Who could resist that creepy little face?

At least Sakurai is not still flaunting stuff we just saw from the Direct.

I like this update. The more trophies the merrier... so long as I don't have to unlock them via the stupid coin launcher... BRING BACK THE LOTTERY!

Stage week makes sense, especially with Tomodachi Life releasing on Friday. There's a certain stage that was only showed for one picture, and was completely pooped on due to Yoshi's expected arrival.

Why are people saying stage trophies return from Melee, when Brawl also had a few of them (Halberd, for example)?

If the Luigi's Mansion stage not being exactly the same as the trophy means the stage doesn't have a trophy, then by that logic, Tortimer's Island doesn't have a trophy because they look different.

Compare the situations:
The Luigi's Mansion trophy was the mansion as it appeared in the original game, while the stage was a miniature version of it.
With Tortimer's Island, it's the reverse situation, with the stage itself being based on the original version, while the trophy is a miniature version.

Also, you didn't fight on the Halberd in Brawl?! Now you're just wrong. Sure, most of the time you are on a platform with the Halberd on the background, but said platform eventually lands on the battleship itself.

Maybe he's just so good at Brawl he always finishes his matches before the platform lands... maybe...

Oh right. Sorry I next to never play that stage.
But my logic was that in Melee and apparently these stages, the trophies are based on the in game SMASH stage, not what the stage is based on. Hence why Peach Castle, Pokemon Stadium, etc from Melee's trophies look exactly like their stage counterparts, whereas Peach's castle looks nothing like that in any Mario entity.
Brawl Luigi's Mansion Mansion=/=Luigi's Mansion Mansion (well there's my 10 years worth of saying mansion in a sentence all at once)

But i wonder if sakurai is also talking about the stages being smaller than they accually are in they home games. (Not just shruken down for trophies.)

Trophy updates are usually not very exciting to me, and this one is no exception. If it really turns out to be a week focused on stages, hopefully at least one update with be the Kalos E4 stage.

That was just the Halberd itself since it was in SSE. Not the stage version with the platform and other stuff.

Brawl didn't have any trophies showcasing the stages like Melee did.

Or if it did, it did a crappy job of it since none of them were memorable. Much like the majority of Brawl's trophies.
