Ironically, Doc vs. Jr. was how I saw the 5th slot if there was one. Doc if no Newcomer, Jr. if Newcomer.

I didn't see Waluigi as particularly likely unless Sakurai for whatever reason added him as a Wario character (which I was half-right about, at the very least), but I saw him having at least a shot. Moreso than I could say....anyone not Doc, Jr., Rosalina (saw her as a rare off-chance), or Toad until Peach showed the Toad Shield move again.

I meant that Waluigi a character that's never been outside of spin off games can't compare to an important character in the mario universe. Sheesh.

Wario would be a good character choice. Though if we get a random character reveal it'll make me think they're some how connected to a newcomer being revealed, or in their reveal video.

There's a light chance for Toad, if the whole Toon Link thing means anything. That said, I pretty much agree overall.

Although I didn't think he'd move Waluigi to the Wario section. I'm guessing he'll actually appear in a Wario game eventually? Or that's a plan and Sakurai knew previously. Or he's laughing at "official" stuff and making his own canon as usual.

I wouldn't exactly call Wario "important" to the Mario universe since he mainly does his own thing now and only ever shows up with the others in spinoffs, but whatever. I highly disagree. It doesn't matter since Waluigi is still an AT, but I still disagree all the same because I can.

I feel he "deserved" a chance and would've enjoyed playing as him.

But it's not the end of the world. Sonic is in the game, so that's more than enough reason for me to get it. Especially since he's the only reason I got Brawl. <3

And it's not like Sakurai would leave Captain Falcon out of the game...At least he better not.

2 in 1 would be great. Reveal Wario. PotD etc As you remember, the musing mad man had two different outfits with multiple colors, not just one. This will also apply to all the fighters as well.

...Sad part is? Unless he gets the SSB Universe symbol, I could see Sakurai actually doing that. That said, if they fixed him up so he doesn't have boss traits(can be thrown, etc.), he'd be perfectly reasonable. As someone who played as him in Melee, he is far from broken and is mid tier perhaps at best. That's even counting his boss ability to avoid throws. Also, no infinity shield or infinite flame breath.

He had one grammatical error that I can recall, so I lost all respect for him! Although, I love that he is oblivious resulting in hilarious sexual innuendos.

The only reason I'd want Giga Bowser as a character slot would be because then Ridley confirmed.
