I am speculating something in regards to the name changer. Maybe 6 characters confirmed? We had 4 in Melee and 5 in Brawl, it is only logical.

This might surprise people, but I enjoy A LOT details. I even enjoy the fact that Sakurai put a big emphasis on them. It's like not only this game is awesome but also in it's deep elements.

I say this every week, but we have yet to see the reconfirmation of the Blue Shell. Seeing as everyone was enjoying Mario Kart 8 over the weekend the picture would make some sense.

Well, not a major deconfirmation no. A fair amount of people thought Wonder Red and Dillon had fairly good chances though. A deconfirmation of that level is what I am expecting. More than someone like Brittany, but less than a Mewtwo level deconfirmation.

Well maybe you could consider the waluigi AT, the Wonderful Red Trophy, Dillon AT, Skull Kid AT as major deconfirmations

I had completely forgotten all about Waluigi, the true taste of salt...

I would not necessarily consider those characters "major" deconfirmations to be honest. But to each his own (if that is how the phrase works).

Me too. Since Wario got into brawl, i didn't think it was a stretch to consider him for this one

I honestly don't see him being playable until he appears in a mario game that isn't a spin off... and I don't see that happening.

I stand by what I said. Personally, I prefer Medusa, as I find rounding out the villain part of the roster to also be a good thing too.(so to speak on the term "good")

That's part of what killed Toad's chances for me. Peach being there too didn't help. Although Waluigi I felt had a ghost of a chance. I honestly think if we somehow get a 6th Mario slot, it'll be a return of Dr. Mario, Bowser Jr., or Paper Mario at best. I'm not counting on the first one much at all. The latter two, however...
