For those who don't know, Orne's are from Kid Icarus, and they cause an instant kill when touched. They also have their own badass theme music.

I bet it acts like an Ultimate Chimera.

speaking of the Ultimate Chimera, I hope we'll get some Mother enemies in smash run. It would be a shame if we didn't get at least a few.

Not gonna lie, kinda getting tired of the Kid Icarus stuff. It's not overwhelming yet, but it seems like KI has just as much representation as the big 3 (Mario, Zelda, and Pokemon) when the series is not that big, and has only recently been rebooted. I know why it's happening and it's probably a great game, but still I hope there is a bit more balance when it's all said and done.

I'd be okay with it if they filled in the middle pit a bit, or cut the stage in half.

There's so many awesome locations in the Mother series, I'd love for them to add some more crazy ones.

Saturn Valley and Magicant would probably be the top picks in terms of "iconic-ness".

Also, they're some of the only recurring locations (if not the only ones?).

I would be extremely excited if Saturn Valley became a stage. Magicant would be cool too though, just because I know how crazy it could get. In the same way I would be happy with Moonside.

Ornes. The mind-shattering instant-death-inducing freaky ghost skull with more skulls in its mouth, where all it takes is one touch of the creature to kill you. Not even the Ultimate Chimera can top the fear these things deliver. Why? There's more than one of these things, they appear in many places, sometimes move faster, the only way to kill them is with the Three Sacred Treasures which is only available to you in 2 chapters, and the horrid theme that can be heard when they're close by.

And yes, the evil creature got me only once, during my first run in Ch.22 (on 2.0 difficulty when I was a newbie). T_T

EDIT: More damage than the Chimera? That means more than 100% or 200% damage that these things cause. *shivers*

I saw a logical comment on Miiverse (rare) that suggested that this could be a Smash Run event. We saw examples in the direct showing the Bullet Bills challenge, running away from creepy Ornes could definitely fit the bill.

I didn't have much problems with them in the original game, but I have had almost perfect runs ruined by these guys.

Guys, this pic of the day takes place on the Reset Bomb Forest stage. You can tell by the lower left corner and how it is the same coloring as inside the reset bomb forest after the bomb explodes. It looks most likely like a stage hazard but being a boss or assist could be possible but very unlikely.

Probably not a Boss, as I expect it to be immortal, as Always (almost Always), so it's probably something like the Ultimare Chimera. A veeery dangerous Hazard~

I hope it's theme will start once it shows up, hehe.

Here's hoping we get another new bit of info tomorrow. I'm feeling good about May! I'm going to guess we get 2 characters this month, or two before E3. Metaknight and Wario must be on their way. Ice Climbers too. I wonder what will happen after E3, if the PotDs continue.

I feel E3, with that Tournament and whatnot, can bring a LOT of characters, both new and old. Like:

PacMan, Ridley and Mii for newcomers.

Cpt. Falcon, Ness, Ice Climbers, Falco, and MetaKnight.

Would be Epic to Watch a Tournament with all this. But, as for tomorrow, um. I honestly CAN see a veteran for tomorrow, for whatever reason. To keep the Hype momentum going. Either that, or something else pretty new and interesting.

I've clocked in nearly 100 hours in Uprising and I've never died to an Orne. My streak shall continue in this game, even if they aren't instant death.

Would have preferred the Tempura Wizard, wouldn't make as much sense on the stage but it's so whimsical and still a one hit (well, two hit technically) instant kill.
