I'm glad no one here is going with "it's nothing," which I've seen in a few other corners of the internet. I guess the only way a picture can be something to those people is if it contains Ridley arm wrestling K. Rool on a new Metal Gear Solid stage.

Cool item, really hope it's an actual item and not an assist.

To all the people asking about all the new Zelda items, Zelda really didn't have that much in Smash until now. The original Smash just had the heart container, Melee added the bunny ears, and Brawl added the deku nut. This all being said, I think it's okay if Zelda has 6 items in SSB4.

Never been against it, I was just pointing it out. There are literally hundreds of possible items from Zelda that would work in Smash Bros.
I hope we get a lot of items this time around. At least 100. I think it's absolutely possible, right? How many were there in Brawl?

Plagiarize? If it's a good idea, it's a good idea really. I don't clam to know how much Sakuari knows in regards to the flash version, even if he was, it's a concept from Zelda games that has been around long before either one of those things existed. The flash concept isn't anymore original they just took the concept and applied it to Smash, the exact same thing Sakuari is doing.

Tanooki Suit needs to happen just because I want to see Tanooki versions of every character.
Also Blue Shell would be very interesting.

OH GOD BEFORE YOU KNOW IT WE'LL HAVE NARUTO AND ICHIGO AND GOKU IN SMASH.

Oh, and I'd like the P-Switch as an item.
And the shields for Sonic, and something for Metal Gear and Megaman, too.

My most wanted Item, now that Cuccos is a reality, is the Super Leaf. I doubt Sakurai would give every character a full suit, but a Tail is very possible.
Would also be neat if that Tail looks different on some characters. Like, Bowser having spikes on it (like in 3D Land), Samus' looking like a extention of her Suit, Luigi having his strange-looking Tail from recent games, etc etc.

So many awesome items they can make. Glad that Cuccos is one of them.

What if cucco is allowed in competitive matches? I mean sure the spawn points are random, but it would add tactics such as hitting it on purpose or having your opponent would hit it. Also it doesn't give either player a clear advantage

oh my god I'm so excited for the cuccos thank you based Sakurai.

I love how little Sakurai is revealing (compared to the brawl dojo), yet showing the right amount to keep hype. I have a feeling we're in for A LOT of surprises when we get the game.

Sakurai is an effin' genius.
