A great stage update for Tuesday explaining the 3D Land stage in more detail with multiple pics, and a new trophy (?) pic for Friday. Not a new AT or character, but eh, I guess it comes close.

I like that Sakurai is deconfirming Kid Icarus goddesses... Viridi and now Phosphora... I really hope Palutena is playable in Smash. She's my second most wanted female newcomer (Dixie Kong is my number one girl).

Y'know there's some poetic justice to this pic being Kid Icarus-related, what with the unrealistic expectations/speculation, and the whole myth to Icarus in the first place. Just replace Icarus with the hype train/average user and wings with expectations.

I think the Ashley model looks better than this Phosphora model (Phosphora model seems lower poly and fewer shaders). Not by too much though.

I'm starting to think we won't get a character for a while. I don't really understand WHY, but the hype building for this game simply sucks. It should be exponential, not ****ing random like this.

There was a 2 hour wait between the pic and caption for an Arena ferox picture

Don't think we'll be getting any characters this month. After the no Yoshi reveal, which honestly was the only character that had a chance this month, I kinda had a feeling we wouldn't be getting character announcements.

No character this month means alot of them are still in develpment and Sakurai will reveal them when he feels like it. Hype is really dead cause nobody is talking about this game minus this board and other smash related forums. I am still furious with how capcom dealt with hype for ultra street fighter so this game better no be like that.

I'd definitely say this increases her chances based on the amount of love KI:U seems to be receiving.

I think Palutena is a shoe in.

Maybe Sakurai is trying to write something ambiguous about Palutena because he revels in fans over-analyzing his captions. He retains his youthful appearance by absorbing fans' life forces when they stay up all night, wasting energy on Sakurai instead of sleeping.

To be honest, I'm not that angry. I like seeing an HD model of an Uprising character.

At the very least, assuming this isn't an AT, hopefully this means Sakurai is making more models for trophies from the ground up ala Melee.
