Who wants to do that though?! I wanna be one of the first people to make the character appear on instagram xD hahha. And its something nice to go to sleep to knowing that a character made it in.

If we do get Yoshi, I really expect to see some substantial overhauls. Yoshi needs it more than just about any other character; Brawl Yoshi was near the natural potential of his design and was still low tier. He just has too many awkward properites and a playstyle that is fundamentally about overwhelmingly defensive play while not having any top tier defensive tools and a bad shield which is basically the single worst defensive thing a character could have. There also just has to be some kind of reason Yoshi is being shown so radically later than the other members of the original eight; in pre-release Brawl, we got Mario, Link, Kirby, Samus, and Pikachu to start and then the other three very fast (I think Yoshi was last of those three though). This time we got Fox and DK to start as well but still haven't seen Yoshi something like 9 months later with 24 characters already shown.

Yoshi's always the last one shown probably due to priorities. Nintendo probably doesn't consider the Yoshi franchise as big or important as others.

When Yoshi was revealed for Brawl Sakurai said on the dojo (Edit: "Yoshi's back and bursting with personality!") so I'm really excited to see how "expressive" he is this time since thats been a big improvement for lots of characters. But yeah, agreed he needs some big changes. Perhaps another jump and an egg or baby Mario system, not exactly sure, havent played much Yoshi myself.

Yoshi tonight. Its pretty obvious to me. It could be for the Japanese date, but that will likely fall after E3, and I don't think they'll wait that long to show him off. He'll be promoting a new game, which has been more or less the pattern for the last few characters. It won't be Wario as the Game and Wario 1 year anniversary in Japan is next week, so I can see him then. The way I see it 90% Yoshi, 7% Random Other Veteran, 3% No Character Revealed.

I think it's safe to say that Yoshi has at least a 40% chance of being shown tomorrow, if Zelda, Dedede, and Diddy are anything to go by.

Difference, there is no standout in X&Y, where as Yoshi's New Island focuses on Yoshi.
