So with only 3 months away from the greatest tournament in smash history, I was wondering what the plan is regarding the Midwest Boards from last year.

No one posts there anymore, well with exception to me and Joshu. But really I think we should begin strategy for our 15 man roster and what the other coasts are going to do. Because I know I got a lot to think and talk about.

Or does no one care anymore?

You have no idea who I am, but I think you should put AaroSmashGuy on there...seeing as though he's proven to be the best in MN and WI....but maybe that doesn't mean anything with all the good players in Michigan and Chicago etc.

Perhaps he didn't do well at FC3 or FC6, but I don't know what would give you the idea that he hasn't gone to "anything else in years." I play smash with him usually every other weekend at different tournaments. Plus...you guys had crashman on the midwest team, and I know tapion is better than him, therefore aarosmashguy is better than both of them seeing as though he beat tapion at the last two tournaments they played.

i never got back on the boards after all the accounts were gone, and we had to get someone to give us permission to get back on <_<.

my ideas:
no trail this time. he just sucks in crews is all.
jiano is a must.
wuwu is another good candidate, but i think he should be an alt, untill we can see he can handle the pressure of it.

Trail is just hit or miss. He's the definition of "if we don't have enough Dope and Tink, put in Trail".

He's your counterpick guy. Remember, he was the only one who beat Forward. Think of him as a crazy ace, maybe?

There should be like an FC tryout thing at one of the tournaments beforehand.

Hell, that'd be cooler than cash for most people. Pick out all the people that are going to FC that want to join the crew, play all together, pick out the goodin's.

It wouldn't be proving yourself the day of considering crews are before singles. Travel to some of the circuit events

Haha, I love how the simple matter of "PM KishSquared to get in" actually PREVENTED people from registering. How lazy!

For quick justification, we wanted a private channel where we could discuss strategy. Allowing anyone to enter unauthorized would ruin the point of that. Yes, I admit everyone to those boards who PMs me. For those not in the know, all you gotta do is register and toss me a PM on Smashboards. Include the name you registered.

Since posting this morning, two people have gone through the INSANELY PAINFUL process of registering and PM'ing me.

Seriously guys, I sit in front of a computer all day. When I get PM'ed, my Outlook tosses a little note on my screen. I had them registered within 2 minutes of their PM.

all of them are musts i think, i agree with tink that wuwu and the others tho good, still gotta prove they can handle the pressure. i didnt put myself on there because im not sure if im going to be able to make FC, since they are usually 2-3 days long, but i think i could be a "must" on there too. ppl i would vote for as alts or the final part of the list might be mikey, joel, eddie(eddie should already be captain i think =)) jiano, wuwu, cunning, b-ryan, all these ppl need to step it up in the next few months. .

ppl say trail is hit or miss, well lemme tell ya, he was pretty hit when he destroyed 4ward, just we arent putting in ICs vs fox like last time, anything else is fine. 1 falcon/ganon should be good enough, having 2 of each would maybe put us at a disadvantage seeing how instead of 2 easy counterable chars, it would be 3 or 4. either way we still got some months to prepare if this is really gonna go down. so how bout this idea, REGIONAL TEAM CREWS! it would be fun ^^

hi so i dont think this is so top secret it needs to be posted in the other forum, but

i think our loss last year was because we had AWFUL........adn i mean AWFUL decisions for counterpicks. i dont remember the specific situation, but i do remember someone telling trail to pick the level, then he got counterpicked and did bad, instead of just going climbers on the stages that are random but still good for him.

my suggestion, instead of having everyone frantically talking and saying "yeah yeah yeah, pick the level dog!!!", we have every person take a turn voicing their idea, all organized-like and ****.

rofl im pretty sure trail decided to pick the level against everyone's wishes and got froed ROfl, i beat that kid in tournie tho so trail was happy

Singles are always last at FC as they take the majority of the time.
