have you read my posts? i'm not trying to convince to like mewtwo, or to not like lucario. hell, I like lucario. but you have to accept that mewtwo IS better than lucario, thats all i was trying to say, and you don't have to like him to know that. tyranitar is one of my least favourite pokemon, but hes still **** good, and i'd be stupid not to think so.

in other news i have become the most prominent poster in this thread. yay for mewtwo love!

i am not even that great with him in melee, and usually get beaten pretty comprehensively with in 4 player FFAs, but when that win comes, oh boy do you get to laugh in your friends' shocked faces! ahh memories. anyway, that isn't a reason for him to return, because hopefully he'll be better and the victories will come more often!

Mewtwo does need to be heavier and faster. I think Confusion should be replaced with Reflect or Psychic. Psychic could work like a force wave and throw back attacks and people, while Reflect is pretty obvious. Disable should either be easier to perform, or should be replaced with Barrier or a rush attack like Falcon Kick. Maybe he could have Psywave somewhere...

Oh, and on the issue of the armor in general. I already said this, but I think it would be pretty interesting to have him wear it by default. After all, it actually reduces his power, which makes it more plausible for him to be on the same level as nutcases like Jigglypuff and Diddy Kong.

Wrong, Mew can only learn every TM/HM in the game.

The only Pokemon that can Learn Psycho Boost are Deoxys and Lugia. Lugia gets it in Pokemon XD only.

well, mew does learn every move in pokemon blue im pretty sure, but that doesn't mean he can learn psycho boost. it wasn't invented by that stage. and he can't learn it in the D/P version of the game (along with a few other moves).

While M2 can't learn Psycho Boost, Pokemon are technically only supposed to be able to use 4 attacks, so I think we can ignore that for Brawl...

Hm, I thought as much, but I don't understand the reason. Ice Beam, Thunderbolt and Flamethrower happen to be moves that Mewtwo can learn and happen to be the best competitive choices for him (though I prefer Recover to Flamethrower), they don't really fit him at all.
