Three great games on one disk (for only $49.99). Great considering japan only gets the new play control versions separately, each for about the same price.

I might get this. I have all 3 but replaying through all three at once would be cool and having a newer version would be pretty awesome (plus, it would be great to add to my collection).

I imagine this would be really good news for those who want to play metroid but haven't gotten the chance too or haven't been able to find the other 2 games.

Wow, I might actually get this now. As you said, it'll be cool to add to my collection. I already have all three games, and I'm not a huge fan of motion control, but...I dunno, it may be worth it at $50 for all three.

I'll certainly consider it. I mean, I'm more lenient on this than the other NPC titles, since I'm a Metroid fanatic and all. I own every title save for a solid copy of the original, so I suppose I can add this one too.

I got practically the entire Metroid Prime trilogy in 08, and I could have just waited for august. It might be just digging up the three, but the prospect is oh too sweet.

♣ Seeing this news makes me want to extend my whole summer break to the US and wait for this game to come out. Silly of my to not finish Metroid Prime 2 Echos when I had the chance. This time I wil beat the whole game. :D ♥

Wow, I did not expect this.

I have all three already as well but this is almost too good to pass up. I think I may just get this when it comes out.

I definitely need this. Nintendo, here's 50 more bucks.

I sadly never got to play the series, so this is perfect (if only they would remake A Link to the Past, Oracle of Seasons, Oracle of Ages, and Link's Awakening for one disc...)

I'll probably get this. I've played Metroid Prime 3 only so far (just rented though), so I'm used to the controls already.

I'd like to play Metroid Prime 2 first though. Previewing it, it looks amazing.

Ohh jeez. 2 Years later and I'm going back for Metroid Prime.

Nintendo sure knows how to eat my money.

I finally got to the point where I can beat Metroid Prime 3 in 10 hours. Granted I don't fall asleep like most of my other runs. I fell asleep for 12 minutes, go a save station and I just went "whut" from a extra 12 minutes from what I calculated.

I only have MP, was never really interested in MP2 for some reason, and still haven't gotten around to MP3...so I guess this would be like a "might as well" for me :D

Oh, and I forgot; screenshot-taker? Hell yes. Combined with an SD card I can get my own MP/MP2/MP3 pictures on my computer. Come to think of it, did MP3 have that as a Friend Voucher option or something? I never got any Friend Vouchers since none of my friends own the game, so I don't really recall.

EDIT: Yep, apparently it did.

Holy jeebus. I was wondering what was going to happen for us concerning the Wiimakes of Metroid Prime 1 and 2 and then I see this. I've already played all 3 numerous times but I don't even care, I'm there to pick this up this August.

I never have played a metroid game but i seriously might get this. I'm amazed how all 3 can fit on one disc i hope it doesn't have major load time.

This is nice, but a new game rather than a re-release would be far nicer.

I really shouldn't buy this out of principle, but **** it, it's too tempting, Nintendo's quick buck tactic has won this time.

Seriously though they'd better not make a habit of this.

Wow, this is great. Since I have never gone into the GameCube era, this is a perfect way to start. Hopefully these re-releasses are for those who haven't played it to be up to speed so Retro S. can make a 4th instalment. Though even if there were not to be a 4th I still think it's a good idea with the whole 3 games for the price of one.

I hope they make more re-releases with some extra kicks. Custom Robo, Wind Waker, SSB: Melee, Mario Kart: DD, etc. Though some are more likely to have re-releases than others, I think it's a good idea.

However, I don't want the devs to get too hooked on re-releases. Most devs are lazy enough as it is when making Wii games.

OHHH

This just totally whacked me on the head. If they can do this, what's stopping the "Dead" Factor 5 for doing this to Rouge Squadron? There was that rumor about the 3 for 1 deal, and personally I think the MP trilogy disk is proving that this is possible.

And I never figured out the Screen shot taker for in game scene's. The closest was the auto screen taker.

I agree, give me some god**** news about a new side-scrolling Metroid already!

...But I can't resist this one nonetheless.

They're not going to be making a fourth, it was a trilogy and the plot was summed up at the end of Prime 3.

I'm betting the ones that they've announced thus far are the only ones getting remade, and Melee is not going to get remade ever, at all. As far as they're concerned, Brawl is better in all aspects.

MASSIVE Metroid Prime 3: Corruption spoilers in this post. If you haven't played the game, or beaten it with 100% yet, then move on.

Spoilers:
The 100% ending showing Sylux's ship stalking Samus left the possibility of a sequel wide open, probably a follow-up to Metroid Prime: Hunters. I'd like to see Intelligent Systems or Retro Studios tackle it, but it's likely not going to happen.

Its most likely a new Metroid arc.

What I really want to see is shooting some Feddies  Especially after what happened in Fusion.

That's foreshadowing for a new game, but not a Metroid Prime game. The Metroid Prime trilogy focused on Phazon, and
the Metroid Prime/Dark Samus
, and
Dark Samus and Phazon were destroyed at the end of MP3
. At best, that indicates a Metroid Prime Hunters: 2. Personally, I'm hoping it's just
Sylux in another Metroid game
, because I hated Hunters.

Even if it is that much, Hunters wasn't part of the Prime trilogy. It was a spin-off that had "Prime" in the name and is set, time-wise, between Prime 1 and Prime 2. I wouldn't count a sequel as any different.
