MetaKnight's Flight to Fight: Alright!

I’ve been dying to use that title.

Anyway, finally, after looong last MetaKnight’s been officialy revealed, despite being in screenshots from months ago when the Dojo first opened. Concidering we’ve already seen his Special moves, there’s not really much to add, other than a hint that Sakurai likes messing with people.

We've seen his moveset and gameplay footage of him in action. He's going to own! Excellent air combat, reflecting cape, quick sword attacks...and he looks so awesome.

No Banner

Meta Knight has no "Warnig Banner" so some people think that those with the banner are unlockable, wrong!
Here's the deal Meta-Knight has the banner because we already knew about him! So characters like PT and Ike are unlocked from the start and only had the banner because we didn't know about them. Unlockables will be updated post-release.

I similarly drew this conclusion from going to the predecessor of the Dojo, the place where all the Melee information was held. Indeed, after November 21 it was all unlockables from there...

This update kind of annoyed me. If anything this should've been a double update day, since we already knew so much about Meta Knight and are only just now getting the character profile (which is basically nothing but unentertaining text, a few screens and official confirmation, all three of which we already had.)

If we get Meta Knight's special moves in a seperate update I'm going to be officially pissed though.

i agree with homeless. there is defenitely some meaning as to why his introduction was delayed. Well, this update wasn't expected by me. i thought meta knight would be revealed along with a more detailed plot about the SSE.

I love how people have been avidly complaining about a lack-of-Metaknight for the past month, and now that he was finally updated, ninety percent of people aren't satisfied. Metaknights probably mad glitchy from speed issues. They were probably trying to make some of his attacks go like 1/2 a frame or something.

For some reason? Maybe tomorrow Sakurai reveals that as of Meta Knight, these are the unlockable characters, and we've seen all of the starter characters now. So now we can see more of the new characters, and the returning old ones that will be unlockable. Also, I don't believe that Sakurai has enough to update the site with to not reveal unlockable characters until December. That's a bit too much time to stall, methinks.

I think meta knights final smash is, he flies up in the air and jabs his sword rapidly and the shots hit people, like what link could do in the original zelda. When he had full hearts he could shoot energy bursts
