Played around with Archetype a bit, decided she's too slow/floaty for my liking, which is a shame cause she has ridiculous range on her everything and seems fairly solid overall.

I don't see how you can possibly play so few fighting games that Melty is the first time you discover damage scaling. But general rule is you never hit Light in any combo after the hitconfirm unless its necessary for a link. You can use this rule for any game with damage scaling, really.

Melty Blood AA Current Code is the newest release, you'll need a netplay patch to play online though =/

Eh, I knew what damage scaling was, I've just never really noticed any explicit examples of it. But no, I don't play many fighters at all, and certainly no 2D ones in the last 2 years, so yeah. :/
