Melbourne - Comrades 2 Videos are up

Well those who travel out of state usually stay in Melbourne for 3-7 days, although those who stay for 3 complain it isn't long enough, especailly if you want to see some things or visit people.

I think my record of melbourne staying is like 2 days.... i seem to organise things badly lol. This time i will stay longer.

If smash starts to become a bore, what other games would anyone bring to keep the entertainment going? I've heard there's pokemon battlers that mite be doing their round of battle tourneys alongside with the smash tourney in January.

I got in the day before, searched up and down a random bridge for dave who was on a different bridge. I had to leave at like 6 in the morning after the tournament to catch my plane and i left my jumper behind. o i wa in Melboune for 2 days.

I've always stayed over in melbourne for 5-7 days, but it is mostly thanks to Gloth for that. And 1 time with Mark. So yeah, those guys are awesome.

I want to be there for a week at least. So I can have fun with smash + do other activites.
I'll see who wants to house me tho, and for how long. Before I make definate plans.

Never liked gambling either. The sheer act of putting money through a poker machine over and over non stop is bound to drive anyone crazy. I'd prefer card games instead...Not the computer operated ones. The real card games!

I'll for sure bring any Wii games (any that are multiplayer) and my Wiimote. (Wii Mario Kart anyone? What about Excite truck? That game sure looks like fun!)

Cao, how's your dealings with Richard? Can you secure this place for us? Give me the details of someone to get in contact with so I can get this place.

I'll check out the venue when/if it's ours. I'll take pics and post them if you guys wanna see lol. I don't wanna get your hopes up though, so no pics until it's ours. I don't think we'll need three days in this place, but it's interesting - Three days in this place works out cheaper (I think) than one day at the SEAT1 & 2 location. And if that means an extra day's housing for OOS's then it might be worth the money.

I let my mum know that on a night after the 27th (or maybe the night of the tourney) I'd probably be having a lot of guys over. I have personal plans with Sloth about him staying at my place for more than a few days since we're partnering. We'll see what happens.

I want to spend a lot of time hanging out with everyone before and after the tournament as well. I know me, josh, gloth and who else will want to have some drinks and go out. Or just pass out. So I'll talk with Gloth about stayin with him for at least 1 night if possible :D

Me staying with you for a few days would be great Freddo and well appreciated don’t you live near Epping? I have a friend I want to visit out in Whittlesea, so it would work doubly perfect.

I like the sound of having besides smash happening at the tourney. In my experience Texas hold'em gets very boring very quickly. Dodgeball is a cool idea it is extremely American though. We should do something more Australian, like drinking! We will have drinking crew battles the state that can put away the most cartons in 2 hours wins. Seriously though dodgeball or some kind of sport sounds cool i find excersise re-energises you after too much smash.

Considering the only code of footy i am actually good at is touch (and i am quite good in fact) then i think touch would rule because it gives those who dont play much sport the chance to compete.

and if i get I.D then yes, i would love to hit the city and go out for a night.

will also be going to the theatre as much as I can since Melbourne is every drama geeks wet dream ........... (drools at the thought of Melbourne theatre scene)

I am not a physical activity guy. Just not fit enough to be honet. Plus I'm a weak cry baby. So, I'll stay out of that sort of stuff.
I'll have ssbm shot matches. Good old 1-1s, winner drinks where this is to happen, well, not sure.
And I just took up DDR, hopefully by Melbourne i'll be ok at it. So I wanna go off and do some of that with anyone else who may be interested.

I'd love to go out into Melbourne club/bar scene really. Would be nice to see something different to Tassies 30+ ugly chicks

Hahah i can't put it away aswell as i used too but ill try. Im totally up for going out WHAT ABOUT JUGGY hes not 18. Oh well as my grandpa always says 'If your born early, you lose'. Touch is a good idea. It requires a decent amount of space though. Im sure anything we come up with will be good.

EDIT: OOOO Sloth sounds like a challenge. At schoolies me and my mates did a centurian, 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes. All we do in QLD is drink beer. If you go to a bar and ask for a G&T they'll hand you a XXXX. QLDers have beer intsead of blood. I think it is you who is doomed to lose.
