I'm going with roman.

Edit (not really): Yes, how many set ups do you need?

Edit (just kidding but seriously): Mushroom Kingdom II should be banned for singles, that's a stupid waste of a strike/ban.

Edit: what are the strike/ban rules?

Edit: what is that "25 FOR MEMBERSHIP" hubub? Is entrance fee $14 for everyone?

Edit: lol at mentioning what the damage ratio is set at.

Edit: thanks roman!

We just started advertising it this week, so we are expecting our biggest crowd. It was about 16 last week, and they were all members but 1. so with a good turnout this week, we can make it grow into something big. 2 of the members are also bringing other people, so I feel we should easily get to atleast the $100 mark. We only need 12 people to do that. So if 6 people bring another, we do it easily.

wow 14 bucks, that's a little on the high side. I'll think about it. That's even if I can make it in time anyways.
If I were to arrive late would I still be able to have friendlies? I wouldn't have to pay if I'm not in the tournament would I?

Wait, the tournaments are on every day or something?
I have no school tuesdays and fridays so I can go down to Providence via Commuter Rail both of those days if someone can pick me up.

If there was one next Tuesday I'd be happy with that :D

Fatal is correct

Though we may be moving these tournaments to saturday mornings, because we can finish faster and the guarenteed pot would move up to at least 200$ a week.

If that was correct?

Rob can correct me.

Rob is a very cool guy, and runs a sick store. I definitely will be coming back, to take second, since dave shows up -_-.

Dave split?

Lol, wow everybody. Calm down.

Ron (the owner/ridiculously nice guy) said he would continue to run Melee Night every Monday to garner local interest. I would suggest changing the prize split to something like 60/30/10 with 4th-6th getting their entry refunded as more people getting paid out obviously equates to more interest. Also, I think it would be better to impose a flat entry fee (something like $5-7) so you don't have some people paying the full $14 and others (members) paying less than a quarter of that. I understand the members are entitled to certain benefits, but it seems fair to me that everybody should pay the same entry fee if they're all competing for the same pot.

We also discussed with Ron the possibility of running larger tournaments maybe once or twice a month on Saturdays and he seemed very interested, so look forward to RI tournaments again in the near future.

Turnout for yesterday was 14 people. Ron said there were a bunch of regulars who usually would've showed up but couldn't on that particular night, so we'll see what happens next week.

I'd have to agree with zoso, 14 dollars is a little steep. More people would probably show up if it was a little cheaper.
