ny/nj vs md/va would be really close...but i think we would lose :-(....not by much though
although i do not consider them to be the same region....the only reason md/va is the same b/c its only northern VA and we might as well be MD....completely different then SoVa
so if md/va played ny or nj by themselves.....we would **** them faster than inui ***** male babies...and boy is that fast!

EE: thats b/c you like ***** in your mouth

rykoshet: its not illogical at all....MD and northern VA has always been considered the same region we are directed connected with eachother and are only about 30 mins away from eachother at max
md/va has always had there own PR...away from southern VA...where as NJ and NY both have their own PR....they have seperate tournies all the time....where rarely one state would goto the other....MD/VA are at EVERY tourny EVERY week...always together...always playing together...much closer than NY is to NJ

It used to take me the exact same amount of time to get to port authority from booklyn as rookie (from queens) and pierce/umbra/RJ (from teaneck). Granted it may take an hour 15 to get to NJ from brooklyn but it takes less than an hour to get as far as new brunswick (where team MOB is) from manhattan, add another 20 minutes and you're at inui's. NY/NJ is actually rather well connected and aside from very very very very small locals you'll otherwise find both states attending the same tournaments. Back when web2zone was around the concept that NY and NJ were separate was a lot more understandable an idea but since NY lost its weeklies such hasnt been the case for over a year, which is a large majority of the time the game has been out locally. Most of the crews include people from both states (EC covering 3 due to its central location being on the south end of jersey, but ZB and Juice having members from new york as well as jersey).

As far as PRs go, NYC flat out didnt have one for a long *** while.

Anyone who doesnt consider NY/NJ one and the same as far as the scene goes is just pulling an ostrich act.

I'll be side betting on NJ/NY
You're a **** as always

Good ****

At any rate, in a crew battle of MD/VA VS NJ/NY, ATHF would be the obvious winner

However, I can't disclose my secrets of how I win a crew battle I'm not even playing in. Just expect me and Phil to win

NY and NJ aren't connected well at all. I used to live in NJ and I took a lot of public transportation there. Public transportation costs between states is ridiculous. Tolls between states. Also, when you look at results, the majority of the time, it's either a majority NJ, and a few NY, or vice versa. Come on dude. I think your pulling the ostrich act. Either way, it doesn't matter. More hype for crew battle

Costs me a dollar and change more to get to NJ by bus than it does to get on the train in new york (3.40 as opposed to 2.25). The expensive ride is getting to south jersey by train, running upwards of 20 bucks on a round trip, but inui's place only tends to run bigger tournaments anyway. Also, as far as placings being dominated, probably in relation to what state the tournament is held in, it's because you're going to get far less random scrubs traveling out of state to play, but as far as the higher level of play goes you do see it being pretty well split amongst both.

That's the difference. In our region, we usually go to the same tournies. You'll see an equal representation of MD and VA at each tourney a majority of the time because of how easy it is to cross borders. No ridiculous tolls, Extremely cheap public transportation, and less distance to travel overall

NJ and southern NY are a lot like MD and northern VA. Much like you guys ignore SoVA, we ignore Northern NY.

Slikvik is trying to say that we're not really connected, but we are. We're the only state that has made Bum leave his own at least five times to compete. We get NY attendance in large numbers even as far south as my events in Princeton. NYC events constantly get NJ players at them. The Viridian City events have a lot of players from both states every time.

We're a more active scene. We're very connected. We just don't share a power rankings.

It would be illogical to allow MD and VA to pick and choose between both states but not NY/NJ.

Ideal MD/VA line-up: Chudat, Meep, Pyronic Star, Azen, Neo, Candy, Omni, Forte, Korn, Boss

Ideal NJ/NY line-up: ADHD, Atomsk, Kssizle, Inui, Anti, Shadow, Ninjalink, Jash, Snakee, Blackwaltz
Dabuz is more consistent than BlackWaltz. We should ue him or Zucco.

I doubt all 4 states would agree to combine for one crew.

Triangle.
We would gladly unite to crush the Midwest. We are Atlantic North.

Yall forgetting about pa which is in the middle. vex, xzax, and andyg who is a better olimar then dabuz+blackwaltz+pyronic star. andy is by far the best olimar i think in the u.s. too bad he now uses snake. and if your including atlantic north then NE included. fatal, darc, dazwa =O

Atlantic north ****. NE/Md/Va/Nj/Ny/Pa. No other region combined could win.

15/20 minutes? why stop there when you can GO FOR THE RECORD! the first ever infinite time match, which never ends because attacking is bad strategy. seriously, i would be jiggs, go SV, hide under the stage float around until you chased me and i could gimp you. theres no time limit to stop me.

AndyG is extremely washed up. I think I threestocked him in a tournament last month and he can't place in the money anymore. The three other Olimars you listed are much better right now. Pyronic~Star is probably the best Olimar in the country, followed by Dabuz/RichBrown, and then BlackWaltz/Zori. That's what I think right now.

Darc quit Brawl. Fatal and Dazwa are of course godlike.
